Gerrard shines for Blades' reserves
Sheffield United goalkeeper Paul Gerrard produced a fine performance to help the Blades' second string to a 1-1 draw with former club Everton.
Gerrard made 99 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees following his £1million switch from Oldham in July 1996.
Mark Hughes handed Everton the lead on the hour but David Sommeil's deflected effort levelled things up five minutes later.
Robert Kozluk, Derek Geary, Chris Lucketti, Nick Montgomery, Danny Webber, Christian Nade and Steven Kabba were also in the starting line-up.
