we got a bye in Round 1, advantage is we can see how other teams a re played before we got involved; but it is unfavourable for the team to build TS.

U-20 Italia is the current U-20 World Cup holders, with a convincing 5-0 against U-20 France 2 weeks ago.

第一場比賽 - 主場對盧森堡 - 對我來說是其中一場 HT 生涯以來最離奇的比賽

- 門將 (下場應未能傷愈復出) 及 1 名前鋒受傷下場，另有 1 名後衛輕傷
- 中場比對手壓制，因對方在作客情況下不選擇 PiC 而集中火力搶佔中場
- 在最後 10 分鐘遇上經驗不足的難關
- 在最後 10 分鐘被對方 2 度追平

對於本賽季開局來講，這場和局當然不是最理想的結局
不過這結果亦非最壞可能出現的，所以我的心情亦不是太失落

這組的局勢變得越來越有趣，短短 2 回合內只有意大利能保持全勝紀錄，其他球隊已經失過分

1st match - hosting Lëtzebuerg is one of the most ridiculous game in my HT career.

- The keeper (most likely not recovered in this Friday) and a forward get injured and a defender bruised.
- being out-played in midfield, opponent decided not to PiC and play strong in midfield in away game.
- suffered from inexperience event in last 10 minutes.
- conceded late equalizers in final 10 minutes.

a draw is not the best result hoping for, especially this is the starting home match.
however it is not the worst would be, so i'm not too disheartened by the result.

the group is getting more interesting, now only Italia having perfect result, all others have been dropping points in just 2 weeks.

第二場比賽 - 作客對台灣 - 縱使戰術上成功抗衡對手，可是結果卻鍛羽而回

比賽發展偏向不利香港的一邊...

- 錯失 2 個 CA 機會，其中一個更是在己方強邊的攻擊
- 對方 QUICK 球員製造到 SE 機會，可是己方 QUICK 翼鋒在上半場一半之前已被贈 2 張黃牌
- 隊長 (被逐下) 再一次未能在預期打全場，而本隊再一次出現經驗不足的難關
- 在尾段被對方進球

我們以 PiC 態度作戰以提升 TS 至更高水平，而成功捉中對方強的邊路進攻一側及弱的邊路防守一側使 CA 戰術打起上來更為有效

始終我們應該忘記今場敗仗，實屬非戰之罪
有時做足本份做好戰術也未必能保證得合理戰果，不過我相信一時惡運過後好運會回到身邊

2nd match - visiting Taiwan, a match ended in disappointment despite well matching opponent tactically.

most event happened went away to HKG...

- 2 CA chance missed, 1 even at strong wing side
- opponent QUICK player got SE chance but own QUICK Winger got 2 yellow cards before halfway of 1st half
- team captain (sent-off) once against cannot play full game as scheduled, and inexperience event calls again
- conceded late goal at last minutes

a PiC was called as wishing to built TS, and the CA tactics played quite successfully as we guess correctly on opponent's strong wing attack side and weak wing defence side.

anyway we shall forget the defeat and bad luck last game.
sometimes you effort cannot make a result, but it should be repaid sometimes later, eventually.

第三場比賽 - 主場對也門 - 終於打開勝利之門

也門在對香港之前一星期的比賽策略上相當進取，以生死之戰態度迎戰意大利，因此在對香港前團隊精神方面陷入劣勢

在主場兼且在團隊精神佔優情況下，香港不需擔心中場問題，故此擺出 3-4-3 以爭取更多入球，而得失球方面可能會在出線形勢後期起關鍵作用

6 球入球的勝利是一個不錯的結果，我希望球員們可以保持良好的表現

3rd match - hosting Al Yaman, finally get 3 points.

Al Yaman was playing aggressive strategy on the match, MOTS against Italia, resulted as significant TS disadvantage against Hong Kong.

Without much worry on midfield as we are at much higher TS at home, we played 3-4-3 and hope to get more goals, which may prove critical at final stage of this group.

A 6-goal victory is a nice result, and I do hope our lads can keep on playing well in coming games.

印度打得相當不錯，他們目的是力求防止我們進球

咖哩餐的賽前準備是相當成功，我們今場沒有陷入經驗不足的情況

可能對手會認為他們是不幸的一方，尾段經驗不足的出現和失了 2 球可能有所關係，不過賽後報告可以看出，香港是值得攻入超過 1 球的

以 PiC 取得勝仗絕對是一件好事，美中不足的是郭 (Guo) 法榮 (Farong) 勇戰受傷 +5 週

credit to India, they played well and tried to keep their goal in safety

probably having some curry meals before the match works out as we didn't suffer inexperience event

maybe they would think they were little unfortunate as suffering inexpereince event before conceding 2 late goals, however match rating shows HKG probably deserves to score more than 1

a PiC win is always sweet but it's unlucky that 郭 (Guo) 法榮 (Farong) is sidelined for 5 weeks

the matchup is quite interesting in matchweek 7, as the 4th~6th team is hosting 1st~3rd team

if all home team wins then the 2nd half of this group would be more interesting (and in a mess)

play the same trick again, i've adviced our lads to having some sphagetti, cappuccino, etc to get more familiar with our opponent

雙方都以保守的戰術開始比賽 - 451 3IM CA vs 451 5IM Press

對方得到 1 個極具爭議性的點球，並轉化成入球

下半場我們變得進取，希望能收復失地，可惜縱使對手尾段受到經驗不足問題困擾，他們始終守至完場

對 U20 HKG 是不幸的一天，而我認為我們的球員已經打得很好；今季我們實在有太多比賽結果非常糟糕，不能合理反映我們的努力

it's a real controversial penalty awarded to away side and they coverted

in 2nd half we go more offensive to try for equalizer, but even opponent was suffering from inexperience event they managed to keep clean sheet

a bad day for U20 HKG, and i think our players had already played well; and there are too many matches ended badly for us in this season, which is really undeserved for us

雙方對本場比賽非常重視，明白賽果對晉級形勢成為關鍵，結果皆擺出 4 IM 及以正常比賽態度迎戰

both teams know this game could make the situation upside down, and both using 4IMs and playing Normal to enpower opponent in midfield.

Luxembourg opts for 3-5-2 2CD 4IM Normal, hoping central and one-side attack would help scoring goals.

Hong Kong rather gamble by 3-4-3 2CD 4IM AIM, aim as breaking down opponents central defence and ignore everything else.

HKG grabbed a goal in 1st half, then Luxembourg fails to equalize despite HKG suffered from inexperience event.

despite we are still at 6th position after this victory, but the difference with 2nd-position team is 3pt now, implies the 2nd-spot is available for 5 teams to compete now.

第八場比賽 - 主場對台北 - 黑哨再現

又一場雙方寸土必爭的比賽，隻方皆集中火力在中場及以正常比賽態度迎戰

香港選擇 3-5-2 2CD 4IM Normal 希望以中路及一邊邊路爭取入球

台北使出 3-5-2 3CD 5IM 2techFWdef Normal 希望穩住防線再求突破

球證成為本場球賽關鍵，上半場在紅牌驅逐台北中場離場後給予台北自由球，而台北因此取得 1 球領先優勢

下半場球給予台北 2 球定點球，台北因此以 3-0 完場客場取得 3 分

此場比賽過後我們的晉級機會相當渺茫，除非在我們前面的對手相繼失誤，不過我們會戰鬥到最後一刻，直至數字上不可能出線為止

8th match - hosting Taiwan - bad referee call on again

aother game which may decide the qualification status, both teams are focusing in midfield and playing Normal to enpower opponent in midfield.

Hong Kong plays 3-5-2 2CD 4IM Normal, hoping central and one-side attack would help scoring goals.

Taiwan opts for 3-5-2 3CD 5IM 2techFWdef Normal, aim as keeping D-line watertight and try to seek for opportunities.

The main actor for the match is the referee, ejected a midfielder from Taiwan, then gifted them a freekick, thus Taiwan converted and got 1-goal advantage in 1st half.

In 2nd half, the referee judged 2 penalty kicks for Taiwan, and Taiwan ended the game with a 3-0 win.

After this game our chance to advance to Canada becomes minimal, despite teams ahead of us commits mistakes together, anyway we'll keep fighting unless it is mathematically impossible.

Anyway a win is what we have to get, but Luxembourg also got the victory against Italy they need, so they are in driving seat now.

1) HKG draw + Taiwan lose + Luxembourg lose
or
2) HKG win + Taiwan win (which net goal margin less than HKG by 2 goals) + Luxembourg not win

see, it's really difficult (<0.0001%), especially HKG is visiting Italy where Taiwan and Luxembourg are at home

anyway I do hope HKG can win the last game and give a good ending for this season

Unfortunately we are just (again) missed the chance to qualify to 2nd round of U20 World Cup. If we get 1 more point then we would have qualified.

Upcoming season U20 HKG squad is slightly stronger than the crops in 2 years ago, most likely because of ever-maturing youth academy. However other countries also enjoy this advantage so i think the only thing certain is that more effort is needed to win an U20 game
來季我相信 U20 香港的球員比 2 季前的球員稍強一點，這大概是由於青訓學院的發展效應。不過其他國家隊亦會享受這個趨勢，所以我唯一肯定的是要在 U20 比賽中勝出需要更多的努力
