Want-away Udinese midfielder David Pizarro is facing a hefty fine from his club, after he went AWOL and failed to show up for pre-season training.
Udinese director general Pietro Leonardi said he wants to fine the player for: "Unprofessional behaviour, lack of respect to the club, the technical staff, his teammates, as well as the Udinese fans."
Pizarro, linked with a move to Inter and Juventus, had been granted permission by the club to go to Chile until July 6, but has failed to notify the club of his whereabouts since.
The player now looks almost certain to be sold, with Udinese valuing him at £11m.
