Sevilla have said that talks with Chelsea about Daniel Alves could begin if the Blues made an opening bid of €30million (£20.2million), while Lyon's hopes of snatching Jesus Navas have been dashed.

The Andalucian club are ready to play tough in order to hang on to their prize assets and have set the bar high for the Blues, according to AS.

Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Alves, but will have to increase an opening bid of €25million (£16.8million) to even make the Sevilla president, Jose Maria del Nido listen.

"If we receive a bid of €30m then we could start to talk," he said.

While Alves is still a big part of the club's plans, Sevilla believe that he could be sacrificed if Chelsea were ready to pay such a huge sum.

Chelsea agree fee for Lyon's Malouda

Chelsea's preparations for the new season have continued to take shape with the appointment of Avram Grant as director of football and a fee being agreed for France midfielder Florent Malouda.

Grant, who was technical director at Portsmouth, will fly with the squad for the pre-season tour to Los Angeles tomorrow, with Malouda meeting up with the team when a medical is completed and personal terms are agreed.

'Chelsea can confirm it has agreed a fee with Olympique Lyonnais for the transfer of Florent Malouda,' read a statement from Chelsea.

The fee is undisclosed but Malouda has been valued at upwards of £13million in the French media since impressing for his country at the World Cup last year and featuring in the Champions League for Lyon.

Malouda will join Steve Sidwell, Claudio Pizarro and Tal Ben Haim as Chelsea's first-team summer signings, with Alex expected to arrive from PSV Eindhoven.

車仔2.1億簽馬隆達首破慳囊

(星島日報報道)車路士今夏首個重磅轉會昨天落實，里昂已接受了「車仔」提出以一千三百五十萬鎊（約二億一千二百萬港元）收購法國國腳馬隆達的報價。廿七歲的馬隆達並已於昨日到倫敦    進行體檢，準備下季將征戰英超。

　　車路士行政總裁簡朗上周已公開表示，有意招攬馬隆達加盟增強攻力，里昂主席歐拿斯周日發表官方聲明︰「我們周日接受了來自車路士的報價，雙方已達成協議。這宗轉會對馬隆達是了不起的，他周一會到倫敦體檢。」

　　車路士早前簽入秘魯    國腳比沙路、賓希姆及薛維爾，但全都是免費轉會。這次馬隆達以高價的加盟，意味洛賓    或胡禮菲臘斯的地位已岌岌可危。

　　另外，車路士班主阿伯拉莫域任命好友格蘭擔任球會的足球總監，這位前樸茨茅夫    的技術總監將與領隊摩連奴合作管理球隊，成為阿伯拉莫域在球隊的心腹。

Defender Boulahrouz made 23 appearances last season, his first at Chelsea. Four were as substitute.
