Aston Villa midfielder Gavin McCann is undergoing a medical at Bolton with a view to completing a £1m move.

The 29-year-old will become the second Villa player to sign for new Bolton boss Sammy Lee after Jloyd Samuel moved on a free transfer.

He had one year left on his current deal at Villa, and it had been expected he would sign a new contract.

McCann joined Villa at the same time as goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen from Sunderland in the summer of 2003.

The former Everton and England star's opportunities at Villa may have become more limited with the expected arrival of West Ham United's Nigel Reo-Coker.

曲街真係都唔駛買啦

中場中已經有巴利,柏度夫,麥肯,戴維斯,卡特拿,奧斯邦尼...
貝加都可客串...

當然大家可能會覺得戴維斯,卡特拿,奧斯邦尼唔夠班...
但戴維斯係前年維拉足 ...

麥肯都無乜用啦

，佢真係係中場一點創造力也沒有，賣走佢確實係件好事
但買個曲加返來值唔值 7m 真成疑問

反而奧斯邦尼表現真的不錯，應該比多 d 機會佢上位
如果買到 Sneijder 就真係好啦，我覺得佢真係適合而家隊波

反而左中場實在不需太擔心，因為大部分時間巴利踢緊，表演相當不錯啦
貝加下半季打這個位亦可，表現亦幾稱職

而最擔心係右後防，艾朗曉士質素實在相當平庸

如果係雷恩度買返米之洛返黎就好啦

打4-3-3個陣呢...巴利就明顯會打中場中路...
不過因為今季都有一半時間係打番4-4-2...
咁4-4-2既時候巴利就係左中場....

季初左前鋒曾經用摩亞...ok la~~
後來1月之後..奧尼爾就用楊格打呢個位...
會發現其實唔係打得太好...最尾個幾場..
楊格就打番右邊...左邊就算係用艾邦去打...
表現幾好添...大炒錫菲個場係代表作...
不過我鐘意有番一個左腳既翼鋒..
好似會好d...

右閘方面...你睇見奧尼爾今季有時寧願用美爾保打右閘都出曉士...
就知奧尼爾似乎都唔太滿意佢...買右閘都唔出奇...
不過宜家仲等緊迪蘭尼...

史尼達算吧..暫時維拉好難吸引到佢啦我覺得...
雖然維拉出得起錢...目前我只係唔多希望曲街加盟

Aliadiere agrees to Boro transfer

Arsenal's French striker Jeremie Aliadiere has agreed a move to Middlesbrough following Mark Viduka's departure from the Riverside.
The Boro website said a move had been agreed "in principle", to be completed in the next couple of weeks when the 24-year-old returns from holiday.

"We tried to sign him in January but were thwarted by Arsenal's injuries," said chief executive Keith Lamb.

"He fits perfectly with the sort of player we are trying to bring in."

Aliadiere, who has been with Arsenal since he was 16, had loan spells at West Ham, Celtic and Wolves.

"He has pace and energy and he is young with his best years in front of him," added Lamb, who denied Boro are interested in bringing Chelsea defender Geremi back to the North East.

The Cameroon international spent a year on loan at the Riverside in 2002-03 and had suggested he might return.

Hamburg midfielder Nigel de Jong has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill.

Villa owner Randy Lerner has granted the Ulsterman substantial transfer funds to finance a summer spending spree, and O'Neill is now casting his gaze towards the Dutch international.

Hamburg are understood to be ready to off-load de Jong after a disappointing season in which they flirted with relegation before finishing a respectable seventh in the Bundesliga.

However, Hamburg sporting director Dietmar Beiersdorfer has played down speculation linking the 22-year-old with a move to England.

"We have heard rumours of interest from Villa but at the moment there is no news," said the Hamburg official.

De Jong joined Hamburg in a £700,000 deal from Ajax 18 months ago, and his former team-mate in the Dutch capital, Wesley Sneijder, has also been linked with a move to Villa.

However, Premiership rivals Tottenham are also understood to be keen on the talented playmaker.
