Schuster confirma el fichaje de Saviola
El nuevo técnico del Real Madrid, Bernd Schuster, confirmó en el programa 'El Mirador de Punto Radio' el fichaje de Saviola adelantado por Marca, así  como el interés en jugadores como Kaká, Cesc o Cristiano Ronaldo, en  el que se piensa de cara al futuro. Así, comenzó por desvelar el acuerdo con Saviola, del que destacó  que tiene "gol, es joven y puede dar mucho", al tiempo que bromeó  sobre su pasado barcelonista de Saviola: "Son esos pequeños detalles que también nos vienen bien, la afición y la prensa reaccionaron muy  bien cuando salió la noticia".

Además, respecto a los otros deseados, sabe que serán complicados.  "Cristiano Ronaldo este año no podrá venir", dijo, para añadir que  Kaká "será difícil que venga este año", pero no lo descarta. "Quizás  sea más fácil el año que viene, no debemos desmoralizarnos", dijo.  "Es un jugador que tiene ganas de venir, pero no quiere pelear con  su club porque es un chico muy agradecido. Por eso creo que no hay  que insistir demasiado. Además, es lógico que el Milan no le deje  escapar. Algún día creo que jugará con nosotros", confió.

Como en la rueda de prensa, recalcó que Cesc "interesa mucho" y  que, aunque sea "muy difícil, hay que intentarlo". "Está en un gran  equipo y podría ser un buen golpe al final", consideró. Además, explicó que al club blanco aún le quedarían "tres o cuatro  jugadores para cerrar la plantilla", pero "no mucho más, porque en  los últimos años se ha fichado a jugadores con futuro y con hambre",  consideró.

Oportunidad para Soldado y De la Red
Por otra parte, destacó que Soldado y De la Red "merecen una  oportunidad" y se la dará y sobre la posibilidad de que Javi García y  Marcelo recalen finalmente en el Getafe reconoce que "va a ser  complicado que un jugador del Madrid esté en el Getafe el año que  viene", sobre todo después de "lo del cheque" por su fichaje.  En este sentido, quiso restar importancia a lo sucedido. "He  estado muy tranquilo durante todo este tiempo de espera, tenía todo  en la mano para arreglarlo. Me hubiera gustado que se arreglara de  una manera más pacífica", sentenció.

Guardado, del Atlas, ficha por el Deportivo de la Coruña
El club mexicano Atlas anunció este martes que vendió al centrocampista Andrés Guardado, de 21 años, al Deportivo de La Coruña por una suma "histórica" de 5'2 millones de euros, la mayor pagada jamás por un jugador mexicano. Fuentes del equipo rojinegro dijeron a Efe que la operación fue por el 75% del pase del jugador, y que el Atlas seguirá teniendo la propiedad del 25% restante de una de las más firmes promesas de los rojinegros.

El representante de Guardado, Mario Ordiales, indicó en conferencia de prensa en la sede del Atlas que aún falta formalizar la venta del jugador y que las partes firmen los documentos del traspaso, pero aseguró que la decisión ya es oficial.

Guardado se integraría a las filas del Deportivo La Coruña una vez finalizada la Copa América, que actualmente disputa la selección mexicana en Venezuela.

México se clasificó para semifinales y mañana se enfrentará con el seleccionado argentino de Alfio Basile en Maracaibo.

El Deportivo, que entrena Miguel Ángel Lotina, tiene previsto comenzar su pretemporada el próximo 16 de julio.

Sin embargo fuentes del Atlas han señalado que "existe la posibilidad" de que el Guardado dispute el 18 de julio un partido para celebrar el aniversario del club Atlas en la ciudad de Guadalajara.

LENDOIRO'S SURPRISE: ANDRES GUARDADO

11 Jul 2007 -- Deportivo has made a surprising signing. The club has agreed to pay €7 million for Andrés Guardado, a young Mexican promise that was linked with Real Madrid and that was near to signing for PSV. The amount of the operation is also a record in Mexico.

Andrés Guardado (20) was linked with Depor in the past, but nobody was expecting this surprising movement by Lendoiro. The Mexican youngster has been on the agenda of the European clubs since he impressed in the last World Cup in Germany. In fact, PSV Eindhoven was near to signing him. The Dutch club offered $8.23 million (€6 million) and his club -Atlas de Guadalajara- was near to accepting it.

Suddenly, Lendoiro appeared with a better offer: $9.61 million (€7 million) for the 75% of his rights. This information wasn't known until Tuesday and after a short press conference, the president of Atlas, Fernando Acosta Martínez, confirmed that the deal with Deportivo is official: "Just a few hours ago, we had the privilege to close the operation that will take our player, Andrés Guardado, to the old continent. We talked with PSV, and more recently with Deportivo, and everything ended well for everybody. The operation is done and we only still have to fulfill a detail, surely it will be accomplished during the next week. The operation is for seven million euro, and we will keep the 25% of the player." It was also reported that Depor will make the payment in four parts during the next 18 months.

This is a record in the transfer history in Mexico, but Acosta affirms that it's worthy: "It isn't an expensive operation, in fact I believe that it was cheap. We must remember the conditions that Andrés possess. He is a player with a national team level. A key piece in the team. I'm sure that if he would have a different nationality, his value would be increased by five more millions."

According to the new agency Notimex, the operation was closed at 2 AM in the morning in Mexico (10 AM Central time in Europe). The agent of the player -Mario Ordiales- also talked during the press conference given by Atlas, he said that: "The player has been noticed about the deal and he is happy about it."

Ordiales also expressed his satisfaction for the deal: "It wasn't an easy choice for the club, we have to recognise that, but finally, the dream of Andrés has been fulfilled. The player has been informed in his hotel room, and we already sent him the contract in order to sign it. I believe that's a matter of one week in order to solve everything."

The news agency EFE reported that the contract for Guardado will be for five years. He is currently participating with Mexico in the Copa America, and it's expected that he will join the pre-season with the squad in the next week. If you want to know more about Andrés Guardado, click [here]
