The Biancocelesti are waiting to see what will happen with the Carrizo situation, with the former Torino goalkeeper being the main candidate to take the number one role in the team.
Christian Abbiati just joined Atletico Madrid from Torino this summer, but the Italian goalkeeper could make a quick return to the peninsula to Lazio who are still without a number one goaltender.
In fact, the situation with regards to Argentinean goalkeeper, Juan Pablo Carrizo, is still very complicated and a solution is still far away. For this reason, the Capital city side is searching for other players to fill that role, with various options available.
Lazio have been linked to Livorno's Amelia and Fiorentina's Avramov, but the most likely solution is that of Abbiati, who is far from happy about being the reserve to Leo Franco at the Madrid based team.
Therefore Abbiati would welcome a move to Lazio were he would be guaranteed a first team spot, but it all depends on how Carrizo's story will develop.
