Riise promises to bounce back after own goal

OSLO, April 24 (Reuters) - Liverpool defender John Arne Riise believes he will come back stronger after a scoring a shock injury-time own goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

'I've learned that it's the way you hit back that matters,' Riise told Thursday's Norwegian daily Verdens Gang. 'Mentally, I am the best.

'I've got my head back in place after a heavy night. I'm going to learn from this.'

Substitute Riise headed a Salomon Kalou cross into his own goal deep into stoppage time at Anfield to give Chelsea a vital away goal.

'I decided to stoop and head the ball in the direction it came from,' said the Liverpool defender. 'But it was a swerving cross, the ball was wet, and it slid right off my forehead. It was a shock to see it lying in the goal.'

Riise added that he was hopeful of staying at Liverpool beyond next year when his contract expires with the Merseyside club.

'I hope and still believe in a new contract with Liverpool,' he said. 'But I cannot say definitely that I have a future here when I only have one year left of my deal and haven't heard anything from the club yet.'

都要睇下係邊個主場, 個人認為奧脫福同晏菲路呢兩個球場同球迷先有d優勢

Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio is set to miss the rest of the season because of injury.



The full-back suffered a torn abductor muscle during his side's 1-1 draw with Chelsea in their UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg encounter at Anfield.


Aurelio was stretchered off in the second half following a collision with Joe Cole and Reds boss Rafa Benitez expects the Brazilian to be sidelined for up to three weeks.



Disappointing
"I have been talking with the doctor and with this kind of injury it usually takes a minimum of three weeks for the player to recover so it will be very difficult for Fabio to play again this season," said Benitez.


"It is very disappointing because Fabio has been doing a good job for the team."

對曼聯黎講, 作客唔輸就算有利
但對巴賽黎講, 主場唔輸作客入球就已經好有利
始終係攻強於守既球隊, 次回合另一個講法係曼聯一定要贏, 因為和波(除非又係0:0, 不過我覺得好難) 都會係巴賽晉級.
