Adriano's costly night out

There are suggestions that Inter boss Jose Mourinho will drop Brazilian hitman Adriano after he went out to a club until the early hours of Monday.

The Special One was furious after Sunday's stalemate with Genoa and vented his spleen at the players he felt were responsible.

The main culprit in Mourinho's eyes was Argentine marksman Julio Cruz and President Massimo Moratti has admitted that the two men are at loggerheads.

But according to La Stampa, Adriano also singled himself out for a portion of his Coach's rage by going out on Sunday night with Milan star Ronaldinho, who wasn't required to attend training due to an injury.

Although L'Imperatore did manage to make it to training on Monday, he wasn't in good shape and Mourinho was reportedly seething.

The fall from grace of Cruz and Adriano may hand chances to Victor Obinna and Mario Balotelli, but forgotten man Hernan Crespo could also get a look in.

The Argentine international has set foot in the pitch just once this term but has made it clear he will fight for a place in the starting 11.
