Striker Cisse completes move to Panathinaikos

France striker Djibril Cisse has completed his move to Panathinaikos from Marseille, the Greek club confirmed on Friday afternoon.

The 27-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, was welcomed by around 2,500 Panathinaikos fans last night as his arrival at Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos airport turned into a major media event in itself.

And after talks with Pana president Nikos Pateras, the Frenchman passed his medical and put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Greens.

Panathinaikos announced the news via a short statement on the club's website, which read: ''Panathinaikos announces that it has reached an agreement with Djibril Cisse over a contract for four years.''

Although no financial details have been revealed, Marseille will reportedly receive around 8 million euros for Cisse, who will earn approximately 2.5m euros per year - making him the club's most highly-paid player ever.

The former Liverpool striker, who is of Ivorian descent, made his name at Auxerre in France before moving to Anfield in 2004. After three years in the Premiership he joined Marseille, who loaned him out to Sunderland last season where he scored 10 goals in 35 league games for the Black Cats.

The Greens are also reportedly close to sealing the transfers of Greece midfielder Kostas Katsouranis from Benfica, Sebastian Leto from Liverpool and Sweden defender Mattias Bjarsmyr from IFK Gothenburg.

City's Eto'o bid was monstrous!
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed that Manchester City has made a "stratospheric offer" for Samuel Eto'o.

Speculation has been rife about where Eto'o will be next season as, with his contract set to expire next summer, Barca were keen to either tie him to a new deal or cash in on the Cameroon striker.

Reports suggest the Catalan giants have accepted a 30 million euro bid from City and Laporta believes the temptation of a mega salary would prove too much for Eto'o.

"Eto'o has a stratospheric offer from City, which would convert him into the best paid player in the world," he told Catalan radio station iCat FM.

"It's starting to become clear that he has this monster offer.

"He wants to stay but an offer like this is very difficult to refuse.

"If Eto'o accepts this stratospheric offer we will have to bring in someone."

Eto'o contributed 36 goals last season as Barca claimed an unprecedented Primera Division, Copa del Rey and Champions League treble.

Should the 28-year-old leave the Nou Camp, Barca would likely step up their efforts to land Spain and Valencia striker David Villa.

好老實，卡卡點諗你知咩，可能佢當年好想去最城，但米蘭唔放人呢、你的論點都幾有問題

走去天水圍讀間band 5學校,
