　　19日，河北德龍控股有限公司(下稱「德龍控股」)，這家新加坡上市的中國公司發佈公告稱，阿布旗下的俄羅斯最大的鋼鐵製造商耶弗拉茲公司 (Evraz)，計劃以百億人民幣收購河北德龍控股有限公司(下稱「德龍控股」)，目前已經正式宣告失敗，原因是沒獲得中國政府的批准。同一時間，耶弗拉茲公司亦發佈公告，因未獲得中國反壟斷機構的批准，公司不打算行使收購德龍控股的選擇權。於是，阿布想來河北「打鐵」做土財主告吹。否則，說不定哪天德羅巴們都得來河北吃驢肉火燒。

　　阿布雖然因足球而聞名世界，但他的外交能力和他在中國的人際關係實在太糟。幾年前，當中石油和中石化想在俄羅斯開闢新天地，並收購俄羅斯某石油公司時，據可靠消息是由於阿布的出手阻攔，讓中國石油商人兵敗俄羅斯。

Hammers edging closer to Chamakh deal?

West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is edging closer to signing Bordeaux forward Marouane Chamakh and is looking to sell James Collins to push the deal through.

Stoke manager Tony Pulis is still hopeful of signing Collins but the Hammers are also waiting to see if Aston Villa are willing to bid for the 25-year-old centre-back.

The money for Collins would be used for Morocco international Chamakh, who is needed to support Carlton Cole as Zola's only senior striker.

Chamakh wants to leave his French club and earlier in the summer was on the radar of Arsenal but Arsene Wenger felt his price was too expensive for a player whose contract is running out.

Meanwhile, left-back Herita Ilunga's facial injury means he is rated as doubtful to face Tottenham on Sunday in the Barclays Premier League clash at Upton Park.

Jonathan Spector is a likely replacement but Fabio Daprela, the Switzerland Under-19 international, impressed in a behind-closed-doors practice match against Watford.

Radoslav Kovac also featured in the 2-1 win, his first appearance since signing a permanent deal with the club. Josh Payne and Zavon Hines scored the goals in the friendly.

Sven-Goran Eriksson's new charges, League Two side Notts County, have announced the signing of former England and Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell.

The ambitious League Two club, who were taken over by Middle East consortium Munto Finance this summer, called a press conference at their Meadow Lane stadium and unveiled their latest signing on Tuesday afternoon.

The Magpies opened talks with the former Arsenal, Tottenham and Portsmouth centre-half last week and the 34-year-old is set to become the highest profile new arrival at the club since Eriksson's appointment as director of football last month.

Commenting on the move, Campbell said: "I am delighted to sign with Notts County today and I am genuinely excited by what the club is trying to achieve. I feel I still have a lot to offer as a footballer and hope to repay the confidence that Notts County has shown in me.

"The hard work starts now but I am confident that something special is being created at the club which will yield a club and a team able to match the ambitions of the new owners, management and proud fans."

Manager Ian McParland has moved to bring in some proven players and signings like Kasper Schmeichel, Lee Hughes, Luke Rodgers, Ben Davies, and Graeme Lee have helped take the Magpies to the top of the table.

He said: "Sol's record speaks for itself and he's achieved just about everything in the game. He is a great player and a great organiser, and his experience will be invaluable to our push for promotion this season.

Campbell, who is a free agent after his contract with Pompey expired last month, had been mulling over whether to join County. His hesitation over descending to the fourth tier of English football derived from his desire to stay in contention for a place in England's World Cup squad for next summer.

However, after reportedly turning down interest from Aston Villa, Campbell appears to have accepted that his international career may be over.
