OAKLAND (NBA.com exclusive) -- In 33 years of officiating, NBA referee Joey Crawford said he has never seen what the Golden State Warriors had to endure in their 113-104 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night at Oracle Arena.
The already short-handed Warriors were forced to finish the last four seconds of the game with only four players -- though Crawford was forced to invoke an obscure NBA rule and keep a player on the floor who had fouled out.
Warriors rookie Stephen Curry fouled Luke Ridnour in the waning seconds of the game and headed to the bench. But Crawford had Curry stay on the floor because NBA rules dictate that five players must remain on the floor at all times.
