When a coach wants to teach you something, and you think you're above that, because you've played 16 games, good games? I had Kevin Garnett, that guy you could say one thing, he's up there, 'What do you want, Coach? I want to get better every time.' He never copped that type of attitude. That's ridiculous, it really is."

Haslem lands on Delfino's neck, head

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's Carlos Delfino has been taken off the court in a stretcher late in the second quarter against the Miami Heat after Udonis Haslem landed on the forward's neck and head.

Delfino drove for a layup with 2:29 left in the first half and fell face down to the floor. On the ensuing scramble for the rebound, Haslem jumped and got it, appearing to land on Delfino's neck or the lower part of the back of his head.

Delfino never moved as paramedics flipped him over on his back and strapped him to a board. Paramedics crossed Delfino's arms, but he made no obvious gestures while the crowd chanted his name.

He appeared to be conscious and blinking while being worked on for about 7 minutes.

About 45 minutes later, the team said Delfino was moving all extremities and was taken to a hospital for precautionary X-rays because of pain in his head and jaw. The Bucks briefly prayed at halfcourt after the game.

Bucks forward Carlos Delfino was released from St. Luke's Hospital on Friday night after being examined for head and neck injuries, general manager John Hammond said Saturday. The results of the medical tests were negative. The Bucks indicated Delfino will be listed as day-to-day on the injury report with neck and jaw soreness. Delfino was hurt late in the second quarter of the Bucks' 87-74 loss to Miami at the Bradley Center. He fell to the floor after missing a shot and was face down when he was inadvertently stepped on by Heat forward Udonis Haslem, who was grabbing a rebound. Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
