Bridge in secret talks with ex

DEVASTATED Wayne Bridge and his former girlfriend held secret crisis talks today for the first time since news of her affair with John Terry broke.
The Manchester City footballer is said to be "totally distraught" after discovering that his lover Vanessa Perroncel and former England team-mate enjoyed a string of secret romps.
The pair had their "very emotional" reunion as it was revealed Terry is to miss a vital FA Cup match so he can spend Valentine's Day trying to win back his wife Toni.

Bridge travelled from Manchester to Surrey to see sultry French lingerie model and their three-year-old son Jaydon.
Her spokesman Max Clifford said: "He has been on the phone constantly, but this is the first time they've seen each other since Friday.
"It was a very emotional reunion. There were lots of tears. It's been very upsetting for both of them and they are anxious to protect their little son Jaydon from this as much as possible."
Weeping Bridge, 29, has been repeatedly phoning former love Vanessa Perroncel - and called her at least FOUR TIMES yesterday as he tried to recover from her betrayal with his England team-mate.
One of Bridge's pals said: "He just can't seem to get over it. The more John's betrayal sinks in, the worse it gets for him. He's absolutely in pieces, totally distraught."
England captain Terry, 29, was best of pals with Bridge when they played together at Chelsea.
They were even pictured enjoying a family day out together at Chessington World of Adventures in 2007 - with Bridge accompanied by Vanessa, and Terry by his wife Toni and their twins Georgie and Summer, then just 11 months old.
But that friendship was destroyed and Terry's England captaincy plunged into doubt when it was revealed he had romped with French lingerie model Vanessa twice a week for four months, and arranged for her to have an abortion after getting her pregnant.
Bridge, now at Manchester City, is father of Vanessa's son Jaydon. The couple split last summer after three years together. Vanessa, 28, said at the time: "Players and friends led him astray, he was going out more than he should have."

Last night Vanessa sparked a bidding war after reportedly being offered £250,000 for her side of the Terry story. But she insisted she was doing it only for the sake of Jaydon, four.
She has hired celebrity publicist Max Clifford, and met him for talks yesterday at the plush Weybridge Health Club in Surrey.
Mr Clifford, 66, said: "It's a story that everyone's talking about and it's a story that obviously all the papers and the television networks are very, very keen to find out what the truth is.

"If the allegations in the papers are true, then of course it's going to be very damaging to John Terry, particularly from a personal point of view. The £250,000 offer is just the latest bid. I am in negotiations on her behalf."
Mr Clifford added today: "I know that she was speaking to Wayne - she speaks to Wayne all the time and obviously she is upset because he is upset.
"She's obviously upset because of the kind of way that Toni must be feeling and she's not happy really that the fact that a close friend of hers, possibly - I'm hoping today to find out who it was - has betrayed her nationally in such a horrible way.
"So she's not feeling particularly happy about all of this and of course if this had been down to Vanessa, none of this would have been in the public domain."
But Mr Clifford refused to give any details about what went on between Vanessa and Terry. He said: "All I'm prepared to say is that she's known John a long time and obviously I think during that time they've become very close friends.
"Anything more than that, I wouldn't want to say at this stage. It's really for her to decide what she wants to do."
Pop sources last night revealed Vanessa was a well-known figure on the London VIP party circuit about ten years ago.
She was often seen around boybands including Five, Boyzone and 911 - and dated a number of pop stars, including Lee Latchford Evans of Steps.
Vanessa was just 19 when they met at a London club.
They dated for six months before they split over Lee's infidelity while on tour in 2002.
A source said: "Vanessa was always hanging around the clubs chatting up pop stars and footballers. She was well-known.
"Lee started dating her after knowing her for a few years and they regularly went to red carpet events together. She loved the attention that came with dating a celeb."
Vanessa, who appeared in her undies as a dancer in movie Ali G Indahouse, accompanied Lee to the Ice Age film premiere in 2002. The couple posed for photographers on the red carpet and Lee introduced her as his girlfriend to his Steps bandmates.
The source added: "Vanessa was particularly fond of Boyzone and used to follow them everywhere.
"She would often show up when the boys were staying in Chelsea and join the band for a drink." |
