Brazil stars lament poor finishing

Brazil's young strikers have vowed to put the disappointing 0-0 draw against Venezuela behind them as they look to improve upon their lacklustre finishing in the Copa America.
Neymar and Alexandre Pato were both guilty of missing gilt-edged opportunities in Brazil's opening game of the tournament, as a staunch Venezuelan defence scrambled well to hold the eight-time continental winners at bay.
Pato came agonisingly close to breaking the deadlock, but was already looking to the team's second match against Paraguay just moments after the final whistle.
"I tried, but unfortunately the ball hit the woodwork. The game did not go as we expected. Now we have to forget about this game," he said.
Neymar, who has been under the microscope due to constant transfer rumours, believed Brazil played well but will need to be more clinical in front of goal if they are to progress to the final stages of the tournament.
"This was a good game and our team did very well. We have to work more on our finishing. We want to win, we always do. The goal did not come, but we will work this week for them to come," he said.
