Former Chelsea man Arnesen moves into the dug out after new club Hamburg sack boss
Former Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen has taken over as manager of Bundesliga side Hamburg where he had been working as director of football.
The Dane takes the reigns from Michael Oenning, who was sacked last month after a run of five defeats in six, and with the side bottom of the Bundesliga.

The club made the announcement on their website, confirming that Arnesen will fulfill both roles until a permanent replacement is found for Oenning. It is understood the club will approach Basle boss Thorsten Fink who will be available in January.
The 55-year-old Arnesen said, 'I'll do the job until the coach who is best for Hamburg is there.'
Interim coach Rodolfo Cardoso's work permit expired on Saturday, after the German league denied a request to allow the Argentine to continue without the necessary coaching license.
The league said there were 'no extenuating circumstances' to allow Cardoso remain in charge beyond the permitted 15 days. Arnesen has the necessary license.
Meanwhile, Hamburg will face Rangers in a friendly next month.
The Scottish champions travel to Germany for the clash on November 29, with a 7.15pm local time kick-off.
Rangers manager Ally McCoist said: 'We are looking forward to playing Liverpool at Ibrox later this month and this game against Hamburg in Germany will be another good test for us.'
