莫拉堤似乎想 keep 蘭尼艾利, 而來季清走部份老將...
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is considering an overhaul of the club's ageing squad this summer.
Many had expected Claudio Ranieri to be sacked following the failure to see off Marseille, but Moratti is keeping faith in the coach for now and is instead considering making significant changes to the playing staff.
"It would be a wise idea to start thinking about the long-term future of the side, to build a team that will be essentially young, but the problem is that if things don't go well after three games then there will be regrets," he said.
"As well as the ability of the new players with fresh legs, the team needs experience. Several players will remain, but we'll bring in something new. It will all depend on the project which we'll plan with the coach."
Asked whether a failure to finish in the top three could actually prove to be advantageous in terms of rebuilding the side, Moratti replied: "It could be, but I don't know what to hope for.
"It is almost impossible to qualify for next season's Champions League, but we hope we can do it as it would be a demonstration of character." |
