「三三四」制能否提高香港學生的教育水平？

因為今年呢一條題目是高考中化說話訓練中最熱門的題目。
而本人正處存亡之秋，遂努力備戰，提出這個題目以作討論及切磋之用。


在我個人而言，「三三四」制未必能夠提高香港學生的教育水平。
因為香港實行「三三四」制未必能夠有資源去實行到。
而且其範圍廣至中學及大學、這些學校未必能夠在如此倉促的時間下迎合到這個制度的要求。

何況，在實行這個制度下，通識教育會變為必修科目。
在這樣的情況下，政府是否能夠在赤字下分配一些資源去培訓這一方面的教師呢？

the reason for today's decling of standard now are thatpersonal observation)
1) university spends too much time on forcing students to study sth which is not related to their major. they cannot concentrate on their major and what they like and even wasting their time, how can students do well?
2) the quality of some courses in universities even poorer and the standard is even lower than a-level. how can students get improvement?

一個好既UG program
應該有1/3既course係elective既

2.
我諗除o左General Studies同某D yr1既 course可能會要求低一些之外
係應該唔會有咁既現象既(起碼我未見過)
除非間大學想倒自己米

1) time and credits are limited and it is a zero-sum concept. spending more time on not-related subject with no doubt make time can spend on major less and fewer credit pts related to their major will make the quality of student poorer.and, students canot deepen their knowledge.
i think what the society needs is a professional but not a person seems know everything but in fact know nothing.
2) for ex, in lu the pol 101 is an good example. my friend which is their student and studeied gis in a-level, told me that the requirment and quality of the course is worser than a=level and he thinks this subject is wasting his time!

1, 現在對通才的需求好像比專才多
2, 1字頭既course,你想幾深?

1.
That's one of the reason why 4 yrs University system is better
student needs to take more credits than current system
same as the credits for their major
I think professionalism is requried in some extent but doesn't mean you can know nothing beside your profession

I think the course is yr1 level
and I already said some yr1 course is to A-level standard

I already said some yr1 courses is have a similiar level to A-level, through they are using different teaching methods.

Not all students enrolled had taken relevant subjects in secondary school

I had already seen many of my friends know very very little outside their major
Also I am curious how you define they are not "deep enough"

我想說的是,若數理科太多其他系的課,可能會對自己系的課不夠深入.
這是相對文商科來說. 文商比較需要其他系的課輔助自己本身的知識.

其實都係睇市場需要.
如果市場對數理科生要求更多專業知識,
學生自然會想選更多本系的課.
