The other high schoolers that have intrigued the Raptors include 6-foot-7 shooting guard Martell Webster from Seattle, 6-foot-11 Connecticut power forward Andray Blatche and 7-foot centre Andrew Bynum of New Jersey. Bynum has so far refused to work out for the Raptors.
The safer route, one that would provide immediate help, would be to use the No.7 selection on one of the proven talents, like small forwards Danny Granger of New Mexico and Joey Graham of Oklahoma State or even North Carolina point guard Raymond Felton if he falls that far. Shooting guard Antoine Wright of Texas A&M was also impressive in his Toronto workout.
