Alberto Fontana will be Chievo’s first-choice ‘keeper in the new campaign following his switch from Inter.
The 38-year-old was officially unveiled as a Chievo player this morning after agreeing a one-year deal.
The Verona based outfit needed a new shot-stopper since the departure of two over the summer months.
Luca Marchegiani, who is still being linked with a move to Roma should their transfer ban be lifted, left after his contract expired.
While Brazilian international Julio Cesar Soares Espindola, as expected, completed a move to Inter yesterday.
