Delvecchio handed Parma trial Thursday 11 August, 2005

Former Italian international Marco Delvecchio could be set for a move to Parma after he was handed a trial with the outfit.
The 32-year-old will start training with the Tardini side on Saturday in a bid to impress boss Mario Beretta.
Parma will then assess his form and fitness before deciding whether to hand him a contract or not.
Delvecchio, who left Roma for Brescia in he January transfer window, had an injury-plagued six-month spell at the Stadio Rigamonti.
The former Inter player, who scored in the Euro 2000 Final against France, can play in attack or on the left-wing.
Parma are looking for another striker to partner Bernardo Corradi in attack during the 2005-06 campaign.
In other transfer news, Cagliari have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Alessandro Conticchio.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract after Torino’s financial difficulties saw them demoted to Serie B.
