Bolton striker El-Hadji Diouf may return to the side after suspension and Nicky Hunt could be given a run out.

Winger Stelios Giannakopoulos (foot) and striker Henrik Pedersen (Achilles) may both be in line for recalls to the squad after injury.

Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb is set to join the squad after two months out through injury but will not start.

Left-backs Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy are ruled out with foot injuries and Alexandre Song is unlikely to feature.
