Garry Flitcroft could join Sheffield United on a free transfer this week as Neil Warnock seeks to boost his side's promotion bid.
The 33-year-old midfielder has been with Blackburn since 1996 making well over 200 appearances. However, he has been restricted to
just two this season and may be tempted by a drop down to the Championship.
Warnock has also launched a new bid for Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome after having a £2million bid turned down last week.
The 19-year-old scored his 14th goal of the season at Highbury on Saturday and the United board are willing to release more money to
land the player.
