Everton will have Alan Stubbs in the squad, while Joseph Yobo is on African Cup of Nations duty and Per Kroldrup is in Italy about a move to Fiorentina.

David Weir and Duncan Ferguson should figure, but Simon Davies is a doubt so Victor Anichebe is in the squad.

Arsenal's Sol Campbell is back after injury but Ashley Cole (thigh) is out.

Pascal Cygan and Gael Clichy are out, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue are on international duty but Kerrea Gilbert and Dennis Bergkamp should be okay.

Everton midfielder Phil Neville:
"The important thing last weekend was to get three points against Portsmouth and move up a few places. I hope now we can kick on.
"We've got to be cautious, because we are still not playing to our best. But things are beginning to look positive.

"There is still a lot more to come from us all. We have had a lot of turning points this season."


Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger:
"Unfortunately Ashley will not be ready for Everton and Pascal Cygan is out.  "Those injuries gives us quite a problem in the left back position.  "But Kerrea Gilbert is back but I don't know if I'll play him there or somebody else. We also have Sol Campbell back in the squad."
