Juventus will meet with boss Fabio Capello on Thursday in an effort to resolve his future once and for all.
Although the tactician this week insisted that he would be leading Juventus in Serie A next term, a move to Real Madrid seems to be on the cards.
Adding more fuel to that particular fire is the publication of some compromising pictures of Capello recently meeting with a Real Madrid party.
Italian magazine ‘Chi’ has the tactician photographed with Presidential candidate Ramon Calderon, his assistant Predrag Mjiatovic and Franco Baldini at the tactician’s holiday home in Spain.
Calderon has pledged to hire the Coach if he wins the Real Madrid election and Capello has admitted to the meeting, even if he insists he only listened.
However, it is now looking increasingly likely that Capello will leave the Italian giants, possibly even today.
Few have been convinced by the idea that he would remain anyway, especially if the club find themselves in Serie B as a result of the ‘Calciopoli’ scandal.
The fact that Baldini is also in talks with Real may also provide an answer to why he recently rejected an offer to become the Old Lady’s new director general.
Should Juventus be in need of a new tactician then Sampdoria’s Walter Novellino is seemingly in pole position to arrive.
The Serie B promotion specialist has been hotly linked and he could bring transfer wizard Beppe Marotta with him from Genoa.
