Samp confirm Vieri split!

Sampdoria Football Club have this afternoon confirmed that they have cancelled the contract of Christian Vieri.

Reports in Italy this morning suggested that the player’s agreement had been rescinded and those whispers have revealed themselves as truth this afternoon.

A club statement read: “Sampdoria inform that late last night, after a serene meeting between director general Giuseppe Marotta and Christian Vieri, both parties agreed that there was no longer the possibility to continue with the professional agreement previously defined.”

The 33-year-old, who only signed for Doria at the start of July, is now considered as a free agent even if he may retire from the game completely.

fr:soccernet.com--Manchester City have confirmed they have accepted an offer from Portsmouth for goalkeeper David James.

The fee for the 36-year-old England stopper, who is in the final year of his contract at the City of Manchester Stadium, is expected to be around £1million.

A deal for James is expected to be completed tomorrow.

Although James' desire to spend more time with his fiancee, who is based in the south of England, is a major influence behind his desire for a move, so too is the potential offer of a three-year contract at Portsmouth.

He knows he has no chance of getting a similar offer if he stays where he is.

City are expected to complete the signing of Swedish international goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson, once James completes his move to Fratton Park.

恕我只睇過 Joe Hart 一場,就係對鹿島鹿角果場,佢接波冇信心之餘亦冇門將要有嘅氣勢,至於咁嘅表現係關能力定狀態事多D我就唔深究喇..
