Shapeshifer, please don't quit on the HK community. As one of the most respected teams in Hong Kong, your achievements and dedication to training National team players are unparalleled in the entire game of Hattrick. There will probably never be another player in this game who has so successfully trained all 10 trainees into NT and U20 players for their countries at the same time the way you have done it.
It is a great loss that the transfer markets have dropped to crazy prices, but it would be a greater loss for the HK community to lose you because you've lost your motivation for the game as a result of the transfer market. HT would always have some interesting motivations - such as challenging explore to the D.I title or even training NT's to the national team in a different position. I just hope that you would continue with us, and maybe find different things to motivate you in Hattrick rather than walk away from the game which you have achieved so much.
However, if you really are intent on quitting Hattrick, we wish you all the best, and it really has been a privilege to play Hattrick with such a great and committed player who has done so much for the HK community. I'm sure your commitments in training HT nationals also reflects your commitment as a person so this speaks volumes of how strong an individual you really are.
Take care and all the best if you really can't find anything to motivate you any longer playing HT. I'll miss those games we've had in our league - even if you've gotten the better of me most of the time :P

I also think it is stupid, the transfer market should be like this:
1. Seller should be able to set a minimum transfer price(buyer can't see);
2. Buyer only need to bid once on one player, who bid the highest will get the player, if no one reach the minimum transfer price of the seller, then no one get the player!!
In the current system, if you start from $0, if only one guy bid $10,000HKD($1,000US), but the player worth $200,000HKD, then you lost money!!

This is almost the same as how you buy a house in scotland.
The seller sets a minimum price (offers above)
Those interested put in a bid equal or above that, how much remains secret.
After a deadline the person with the highest bid pays at that price.
Having this in HT would remove the 71 hours of waiting and then having to be online for the last 10m to buy a player.

You don't happen to play Planetarium Manager, do you? Just asking because that's how the transfer system works there.
In regard to shapeshifter: It sure would be a loss to the HK HT community, but I can understand your reasons... After nearly 4 years of HT, I too find many aspects of the game quite annoying and am considering to leave it altogether (see latest PA). I guess the only thing that kept me here for the past couple of month are the nice people I've met in this game...

the whole story was:
i sold a chinese NTP utopian player for 29 000 000 HKD.
then the second buyer sold him for about 12 000 000HKD.
and then the GM reduce my income 13 500 000HKD.
finally, i only get 13 500 000HKD, less than a ET player.
what do you think if you sell a thing in ebay for $100, then ebay get you $50 because other seller sell similar thing for $50?
i have complained to the GM but useless, they just use their illogical reason to reply me.
is that mean all managers should not train their player over ET, otherwise the trainer is stupid?
why not HT just fix the price of player? i am very angry for the market control. it rape the meaning of bid.

Hello,
The player you were selling wasn't worth the amount
you sold him for. If you would resell him, you would
get around the amount you have now.
The reason you got so much back then is that there
are people around who like to give their money away
without knowing the value of a player, or you sold
him to someone who made a mistake and bid more
then he wanted to give.
We believe it is not fair that some users have the luck of being selected by such a user and therefore
we adjust the price to a reasonable price, namely the price you would have got if you sold him to an other user.
Also, we would like to make clear that the buyer did not got his money back, the adjustment is only for the seller to not get an advantage.
