Arsenal midfielder Jose Antonio Reyes is wanted by three Spanish clubs.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, scoring twice in their final match of the season as they clinched the Primera Liga title.
"There are three clubs interested in Jose, all in Spain," Reyes' agent Jesus Rodriguez de Moya told BBC Sport.
But BBC Sport understands that Reyes, for whom Arsenal paid Sevilla £10.5m in January 2004, will not have his loan move to Madrid made permanent.
Reyes is keen to join the Spanish champions on a permanent basis and said after his brace against Real Mallorca: "I hope they aren't my last goals for Real.
"Maybe what has happened will convince the club they would like to keep me."
But the forward's hopes of a permanent switch suffered a knock when Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sent back striker Julio Baptista to Real after declining to take up the option of a swap deal involving Reyes.
And Reyes' agent is adamant that if nothing happens over the summer his player will start next season with Arsenal.
"What we know right now is that he has a contract with Arsenal - but there are possibilities of course," added Rodriguez de Moya.
"There are clubs interested but it all depends on Arsenal and the offers they receive."
Reyes is currently in Israel with the Real team ahead of a special end-of-season Peace Match against a team comprising Israeli and Palestinian players.
And Rodriguez de Moya said: "At the end of the week he will return to Seville to begin his holiday and get away from the problem of where he is going to play next season."
Reyes arrived at Highbury in January 2004, scoring 16 goals in 54 Premier League appearances, but failed to command a regular first-team place.
He was sent out on loan to Real in August 2006. |
