D.卡 馬 拉 現 正 身 處 倫 敦 討 論 個 人 條 款 事 宜 ，同 時 進 行 體 檢 。 在 本 週 D.卡馬 拉 被 傳 出 將 成 為 今 夏 離 開 西 布 朗 的 首 批 球 員 ，同 時 新 特 蘭 亦 相 信 快 將 簽 入 西 布 朗後 防 P.麥 沙 尼 及 中 場 P.羅 賓 遜 ，新 特 蘭 有 望 以 500萬 英 鎊 收 購 這 兩 名 渴 望 投 身 英 超 的球 員 。

ROVERS have swooped to complete their second signing of the summer with the
arrival of striker Maceo Rigters from NAC Breda.

The Lancashire club beat a host of other sides to secure the services of the
highly rated Dutch under 21 star who has signed a four-year deal for an
undisclosed fee.

A product of the famous Ajax Youth Academy, Maceo made his senior debut for
SC Heerenveen, but it was his eight goals in seventeen games at FC Dordrecht
that brought him to the attention of the top Dutch clubs and in 2004/05 he
moved to NAC Breda.

Over three seasons at Breda, where he has operated mainly as a winger, he
made 61 appearances, netting five times.

But it was at the recent Euro under 21 Championships where the
Amsterdam-born striker caught the eye as he finished with the Golden Boot as
the tournament's top scorer with four goals from his five games.

He'll be remembered for scoring the 89th minute equaliser against England
with the overhead kick in the semi-final that took the game to extra-time
and ultimately disappointment for England in the shootout.
