Emerson close to Inter?

Real Madrid midfielder Emerson is close to joining Inter according to transfer guru Ernesto Bronzetti.
El Puma is a target for the Nerazzurri after fellow countryman Adriano and Coach Roberto Mancini stated their admiration for the former Juve player.
“The operation is almost finalised,” said Bronzetti in a phone interview to Radio Radio.
However, chief Massimo Moratti has recently insisted that Inter’s transfer campaign is over and that there would be no more new signings.
Reports in the Italian Press have also suggested that Emerson might make a sensational return to Juventus, the club he left last year after they were demoted to Serie B following the Calciopoli scandal.
But if the Inter rumours prove to be correct it would be a blow to Marco Materazzi, who had stated that he didn’t want Emerson at the San Siro.
“I don’t want him here. Last year he insulted Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patrick Vieira because they chose Inter and now he wants to do the same,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport last week.
“I don’t like this attitude and I would prefer it if he returned to Juventus.”
