Morfeo Close To Palermo Move The midfielder had a fallout with Parma and has been placed on the transfer market list, with various clubs interested in signing the former Inter player.
Domenico Morfeo's adventure at Parma is coming to an end. In the past days, the veteran midfielder had a big row with one of the Gialloblu trainers whilst the squad was in Spain for some friendly matches.
President Ghirardi ordered straight away that the player should be sent back home and placed on the transfer market despite being an essential part of the squad.
In the past, Morfeo's temperament put him in trouble as he received various long suspensions due to his on-pitch behaviour.
Now it seems like his future lies at Palermo as the Rosanero coach, Stefano Colantuono, is very keen on bringing the talented midfielder to Sicily now that the opportunity exists.
Morfeo played in 23 matches last season for Parma, scoring one goal and helping the Gialloblu to avoid the drop in Serie B.[Goal.com]
