Leeds United have signed Finland international Mikael Forssell.
The former Chelsea and Birmingham striker has been training with the club over the past few weeks, after spending the past three seasons playing for Bundesliga outfit Hannover.
Mikael, whose English experience came at Stamford Bridge and St. Andrew's, where he played Premier League football, is a well-capped international marksman, has signed until the end of the season.
Last weekend, he scored in Finland's 4-1 win against Moldova.
United manager Simon Grayson said: "Mikael has been training with us for a few weeks now and we have seen what he is all about. He has shown his qualities and we know what he will bring.
"He is hungry and has a desire, and he will be a welcome addition to our squad."
