A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 100000 to FENG-WANG Arena. FENG-WANG had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Kin-Guan - Chonghao, Barillari, Qian-Hua - Chi-Thao, Su-xin, Thien Chye, Macindoe, Patton - Uddholt, Kheng Guan.
Architectz tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Fernández - Fredriksen, Romano, Lieverse, Han Bo - Alpízar, Vehkalahti, Holtzman, 若棕 (Ruozong) , Tedesco - Palopelto.
Architectz immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. Auguste Macindoe's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his 4th minute goal up the middle gave FENG-WANG the 1 - 0 lead. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FENG-WANG's Li Chi-Thao putting the lead up to 2 - 0. After this, FENG-WANG lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Song Thien Chye gave FENG-WANG supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0 after 37 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. Jing Su-xin had a fantastic opportunity to put FENG-WANG up another goal in the 42nd minute, but he fired just over the crossbar. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. FENG-WANG, bringing their ball possession to 66 percent, dominated the battle.
Zou Chonghao of FENG-WANG received a yellow card in the 64th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The sun seemed to put Kari Palopelto in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. In the 71st minute, FENG-WANG's Fan Qian-Hua received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After an industrious effort down the middle, Li Chi-Thao could have closed the game off in the 72nd minute, but his finishing shot hit the post. The home side's Stefan Uddholt came close to extending the lead in the 75th minute. His shot came in on the right hand side but Rodrigo Fernández managed to save it by a fingernail. In the game's 76th minute, Architectz's Manuel Tedesco fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Manuel Tedesco for diving. Jing Su-xin gave FENG-WANG supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0 after 78 minutes, following a good exchange of passes on the right that the away team failed to deal with. FENG-WANG dictated play, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.
Stefan Uddholt performed admirably for FENG-WANG. However, Fan Qian-Hua made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Architectz player was without a doubt Kari Palopelto. Tiemen Lieverse was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
