Dark skies made the crowd of 59501 at Champion Road a little nervous, but the rain held off. BEYOU36 tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players took the field: Huismans - Sequeiros, Saigh, Gillbeck - García, Mogensen, Arnold, Skogin, Castro - Wągrowski, Wei Liang.
Rover had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Duro - Dyrholm, Èavrag, Aðalgeirsson - Bałut, Chan Ho, Hong Wai, Alberts, Demetrescu - Eijck, Dobrydnio.
Rover took a creative approach on the field. 0 - 1 was the score in the 31:th minute, after Rover's Óli Aðalgeirsson cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal. After 33 minutes, Lin Wei Liang made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. In the 34:th minute BEYOU36's Fernando Sequeiros viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. Przemysław Arnold became the new BEYOU36 captain. The Rover player who had to be helped off the pitch, was Jan Dobrydnio as he was unable to finish the game. Juan Franco came in to finish the match. 38 minutes into the game, Sil Eijck was a hair's breadth away from giving Rover the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by Arnie Huismans saved the home team that time. BEYOU36's Jair García was shown a yellow card after 40 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Rover took the lead in the game's 41:th minute, scoring the 1 - 2 goal after some elegant plays down the middle. Ru Hong Wai was the scorer. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Rover's Juan Franco got himself booked. The game had been on for 42 minutes when Sil Eijck broke through on the right, upping the score for Rover to 1 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Neither team was controlling the action at this point in the match.
A drive on the left side allowed Rover's Rãzvan Demetrescu to get in close and score a goal in the 67:th minute, leading to 1 - 4. The away team's Sil Eijck took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right in the 76:th minute increasing Rover's lead to 1 - 5. A thrilling play through the middle in the 78:th minute gave Rover's Kuba Bałut a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 6. By now, Rover were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. BEYOU36's Enrique Castro was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - Wincenty Wągrowski managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 6 in the 79:th minute. Rover's Sil Eijck received a play slashing through the home side's central defense in the 81:th minute, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 2 - 7 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. This third goal made a hat trick for Sil Eijck. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams.
Most important BEYOU36 player was Enrique Castro. Jabir Saigh on the other hand, had a terrible day. Ru Hong Wai performed admirably for Rover. Joaquim Duro was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 7.
