Parker(27th pick), Prince(23rd pick), Okur(38th pick), Rondo (21st pick) 紛紛發來賀電

這4個2000後球員撇除未知數朗度, 合共只出席了4次明星賽
可見他們算是綠葉而非主力

之所以選擇用TOP5 , 是為了比較不同選秀季的頂尖球員

柏加未必入到前10啊,

畢竟佢係HAND CHECK RULE最大受益者之一, 兼且有鄧肯為他開路,
到底說柏加是綠葉又可能豪華了點, 說是一線球星又談不上

嚴格黎講, 可以細分D:

HALL OF FAME LEVEL
PERNNINAL ALL-STAR
ALL-STAR
FIRST TEAM
RESERVE

柏加應該係第3層, 或者3與4之間, 朗度就傾向係第4層

如果只係睇表面用入明星賽去計
當然可以話而家果班係蛋散

但係
90年代中期開始既高中生跳班期你有冇考慮?
96年果班高中生打左10年都仲係28/9歲
呢個年紀簡直係球員生涯高峰既開始
用一班打到識飛既老波骨同班rookies去比?!
舊果班都仲未開始老退，每年都已經一大堆值得入既人都入唔到喇

好多球員
唔係單單用咩層級去定
stats無疑唔會厄人，但係好多對球賽既貢獻未必睇得到

高中生效應慮已考,
所以前面都講明96-98既高中生即使職業生涯未完, 都不會獲得明星賽追加場次,
另外高中生效應是在2000球季之後才大行其道的, 95-98之間只有KOBE, KG, JO與TMAC四人屬於高中生, 之前的89年都有個桑甘普

另外有研究都顯示, 即使係高中生, 一般都要過左22/23先入到明星賽, LEARNING CURVE同班大學生冇大分別
而且太早打負荷大既職業賽, 球員生涯即可能因此向前傷縮短幾年 (SEE TMAC, BENDER, MILES)

NBA有句說話叫 "SUPERSTARS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS"
綠葉球員再有貢獻, 不過隨街都係, 可以輕易替補得到,
唯獨名人堂的皇級球員乃是可遇不可求,千金難買,  而且是每支冠軍隊不可或缺的主力,
自從1980年至2010年的30年間, 只有2004的冠軍活塞沒有皇級球員, 可見超級巨星對於爭標的重要性及珍貴性, 亦是為什麼以明星賽場次/名人堂人數比較不同年度新秀的主因

WASHINGTON (AP)—For someone looking to get back into the good graces of his team, its fans and the NBA, Gilbert Arenas(notes) has a funny way of showing it.

The Washington Wizards guard’s latest escapade took place Tuesday, when coach Flip Saunders announced before a preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks that Arenas would miss the contest with a sore left knee.

But Arenas revealed after the Wizards’ 107-92 victory that he pretended to have a bum knee to give teammate Nick Young(notes) a chance to start. He told reporters Wednesday that he was trying to do Young a favor.

“I lied to coach and told him my knee was sore so he’d start Nick,” Arenas said.

Two nights after he admitted he faked a left knee injury, Arenas played just three minutes before exiting the Washington Wizards’ 96-88 preseason loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night with strained right groin.

Arenas didn’t start, but made the most of his brief return.

He didn’t attempt a shot, but had three steals, a rebound, an assist and a blocked shot. He teamed with John Wall(notes) on some neat passes in his first home game since being suspended for bringing guns to the locker room.
