Jewell : It was "difficult to take"

Wigan boss Paul Jewell admitted that his side's last-gasp defeat to Chelsea was "difficult to take".

"The players gave everything they had and to concede a goal with the last kick of the game feels awful," he said.

"We have to take positives. Our effort, organisation and determination was good. The only negative was the score.

"At the end, Jose Mourinho said to me 'you don't deserve to lose' and that was big of him. But in football you don't always get what you deserve."
