Roma want Di Michele - agent

Roma are interested in signing Udinese forward David Di Michele, says the Italian international’s agent.

The pacey attacker has been heavily associated with the Giallorossi recently, especially if Antonio Cassano leaves the capital before the August 31 deadline.

"Roma would have no problem in convincing Di Michele to leave Udinese," stated Stefano Antonelli.

"The Giallorossi have been interested in Di Michele for some time, even before the arrival of (former Udinese boss) Luciano Spalletti," he added.

"There are no untransferable players at Udinese and (owner Gianpaolo) Pozzo is ready to negotiate with anybody.

"However, it is clear that Udinese would want a player and a substantial cash sum in order to hand over David."

Antonelli also represents Lazio striker Roberto Muzzi who has recently been linked with a move to Torino.

"He’s staying at Lazio," he confirmed. "No talks at all have taken place with Toro and no offer has been made. It is all newspaper talk.

"The player has a good rapport with boss Delio Rossi and Roberto feels like a part of the project."
