Joaquin flattered by interest
Real Betis star Joaquin has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to Newcastle.
Newcastle are believed to have joined the chase for the Spanish international.
Joaquin has been linked with a move to England for some time with both Chelsea and Liverpool credited with an interest in the player.
The skilful winger has claimed that Newcastle ace Albert Luque has been asked to keep tabs on Joaquin's situation for the St James' Park hierarchy and that he would be interested in playing alongside Luque and Michael Owen.
"I've been told Newcastle have asked Luque for reports on me," Joaquin told the News of the World.
"That is good news as far as I'm concerned - I hope he told them nice things.
"It would be beautiful to have him as a team-mate and play alongside somebody like Owen who is one of the best strikers in the world."
It remains to be seen if Betis would be willing to cash in on their prized asset as they battle to avoid relegation from La Liga this season.

不 過 對 將 祖 昆 恩 視 作 皇 牌 貝 迪 斯 而 言 ，較 希 望 他 能 繼 續 留 隊 助 球 隊 擺 脫 困 境 。
