有個trade rumour:
Eddie Jones+Damon Jones/Keyon Dooling for Jason Williams+James Posey
好搞笑,D.Jones同Dooling根本唔trade得住
仲有曼菲斯要Eddie Jones做乜,Earl Watson能承擔大任嗎

Mavs Complete Trade with Golden State

DALLAS (August 24, 2004) — The Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors may be experiencing a sense of déjà vu, as for the second straight offseason, the teams completed a multi-player trade. The Mavericks announced today that they have packaged Christian Laettner, Eduardo Najera, two future first round picks, the draft rights to both Luis Flores and Mladen Sekularac along with cash considerations to the Warriors in exchange for Erick Dampier , Dan Dickau, Evan Eschmeyer and the draft rights to Steve Logan.

Nearly a year ago, on Aug. 18, 2003, Dallas traded Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson, Evan Eschmeyer, Popeye Jones and Antoine Rigaudeau to Golden State for Antawn Jamison, Danny Fortson, Jiri Welsch and Chris Mills.

Dampier (6-11, 265) was a free agent this summer, but signed a multi-year contract with the Warriors prior to the trade taking place. The eight-year veteran is coming off of his best season by far in 2003-04 with career high averages of 12.3 points and 12.0 rebounds in 74 games.

Dampier was one of just nine players to average a point-rebound double-double last season. He ranked fourth in the league in rebounding, first in offensive rebounding (4.6 orpg), tied for third in field goal percentage (career high 53.5%) and 15th in blocks (1.85 bpg). In 153 career games, Dampier has averaged 8.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.61 blocks in 25.7 minutes per game.

Eschmeyer (6-11, 250) returns to Dallas after a year absence, having spent the 2003-04 season on the injured list with a knee injury for Golden State. In 153 career games, he has averaged 2.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game.

For Dickau (6-0, 190), it marks the second time he has been traded this summer. Back on July 20th, he was acquired from Portland along with Dale Davis in exchange for Nick Van Exel. Dickau spent his first season and a half with Atlanta before being traded to Portland along with Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff in exchange for Rasheed Wallace and Wesley Person on Feb. 9, 2004.

In 93 career games, Dickau has averaged 3.0 points and 1.3 assists in 8.7 minutes per game. He attended the same college, Gonzaga, as future Hall of Fame point guard John Stockton.

Logan (6-0, 195) was a second round pick (30th overall) by Golden State in the 2002 NBA Draft. The former University of Cincinnati star was a member of the Warriors summer league team in 2002, and most recently participated in the Long Beach Summer Pro League for the VR Sports team this past July. Logan was named a consensus First Team All-American by The Associated Press his senior season at Cincinnati. He finished his career ranked second on Cincinnati’s all-time scoring list behind Oscar Robertson.

Najera (6-8, 235) departs Dallas after four seasons. The native of Mexico has averaged 4.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 17.4 minutes in 208 career games. He leaves with the fifth highest career field goal percentage (50.9%) in team history. Knee problems limited Najera to 58 games in 2003-04 with averages of 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game.

Laettner (6-11, 245) was acquired in a draft day deal by Dallas along with Jerry Stackhouse and the rights to Devin Harris in exchange for Antawn Jamison and cash considerations. The 12-year veteran from Duke has averaged 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 819 career games and was an All-Star in 1996-97. Last season, Laettner appeared in 48 games and averaged 5.9 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Flores (6-2, 195) was the 55th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by Houston but was acquired by Dallas for the rights to the 50th pick, Vassilis Spanoulis. Flores played his final three collegiate seasons at Manhattan after transferring from Rutgers. He finished his career as the Jasper’s all-time leading scorer (2,160 points) and was named the MAAC Player of the Year and the MAAC Tournament MVP as both a junior and a senior.

Sekularac (6-8, 210) was a second round pick (55th overall) of the Mavericks in the 2002 NBA Draft. The native of Yugoslavia has been playing professionally in Europe since 1996. Last summer, he competed for the Mavericks in both the Long Beach Summer Pro League and the Reebok Rocky Mountain Revue. In 12 games, he averaged 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Free-agent center Joel Przybilla signed with the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, putting the former first-round draft pick on his third team in the last year.

The 24-year-old finished last season with the Atlanta Hawks after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade in February.

In 12 games with the Hawks, the 7-foot-1 Przybilla averaged four points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots. His career averages are 2.1 points, four rebounds and 1.37 blocked shots per game.

"Joel is a young man that has demonstrated the ability to rebound and block shots especially when given the opportunity to play last season in Atlanta," Trail Blazers General Manager John Nash said. "We would welcome those attributes to our team."

Przybilla left the University of Minnesota after two seasons and was chosen ninth in the first round by the Houston Rockets in 2000. He was sent to Milwaukee in a draft-day deal and played three seasons for the Bucks.

He started 62 games in 2001-02.
