Francis Jeffers admits he would love to return to Everton Football Club.
The 25-year-old left Goodison Park for Arsenal in a £10million back in 2001, in a transfer that signalled a downward spiral in his career that he is struggling to overcome.
After flopping at Highbury he returned to the Toffees for a short loan spell before moving to Rangers on loan, and eventually sealing a move to Charlton Athletic.
It is believed that the Addicks are prepared to let him go after again failing to rediscover his form, and the striker admits he would love to return to Merseyside despite falling out with the manager.
"I had a well publicised fall-out with David Moyes but that was just down to my sheer determination to get into that team and desire to get back playing for Everton," Jeffers told Sky Sports.
"It's happening every day in football clubs, lads getting disappointed and saying things and that's what happened with me. When I left Everton to go back to Arsenal me and David were on good terms.
"We shook hands and said maybe one day our paths could cross again. Who knows? I'd love to go back there, I've seen they've just signed Andy Johnson so who knows?"
