We play away and overall Mexico team have better players form. We will take some risk and see if we can get anything out of this match.

Mexico changed the defensive coach to offensive one after the match order deadline. Think they would like to confuse us they will play CA. I really don't think they will play CA at home against us. Our game plan is to all out attack with 5 midfield, 2 OCD, 1 WB offensive with two divine solid form forward. We will play AIM under normal order, we internationally leave a few excellent form players on the bench for tactical reason (1 CB, 1 WO). If we field players with just better form, we will go for a more balance tactic.

We are in half way of this season and take this opportunity I would like to give you a brief update on player requirement/development front.

Forward: we have 4 forward training so we are fine for this department.
Midfield: the strong part of the current team but we are lacking training prospect. If you are willing to help future NT HKG team, there are opportunity in the midfield players.
Wing: we have 2 wing training on secondary.
Defender: one interesting prospect identified, I believe we can accommodate more.
GK: our first GK is aging and back up GK is not training. So if you have young HKG GK training, there will be opportunity.

WB, OCD, DF, FTW - if you are working on these multi-skill players for NT HKG team, please contact NT coach team.

Today we will visit UAE (155449267) in the middle of 3 games road trip. Even though they are currently rank six in group 14. We cannot take them lightly, group leader Germany only manage a draw when they visit UAE (the only points they drop so far in current qualification round). So NT HKG team need add the luck and support they can have for a chance to go through.

<analysis & game plan in HKG U20/NT FED>

On a side note our backup GK Sui Ying Nan (71713428) is on transfer list at asking price of 45M (weekly salary 2.3M). Sui just turn to 25 but so far don't get many games from me as currently he don't receive training. If any one of you have spare care and interest to train Sui please take note (or bookmark him for further update). If he get further training on SP/defense/defensive position, I will feature him in more matches.

3:1 is the final score but unforurtantly we lost our winger  Tang Yeo-hoon to long term injury (sorry William).  Team will move on to India to prepare for next week critical crash with India.

Tonight we will travel to India and play the final game in the three games road trip (155449272) . No doubt the most important match in qualification round and a lost will essentially rule out our chance to advance to next phase. Happy to see the score of 3:0 when I check back this morning. India played a formation/tactic that we are prepared for and with input from Ronny/Little Rain/EM in the NT FED war room, we are able to work out a good game plan for this match.

It is very good we level the round one defeat of 0:1 with this win and overall in the two match up with India we managed to hold our ground (and the +2 goal different may be very useful later on). We now holding goal difference advantage over India with a slight better second round schedule so the WC play off spot is for us to hold.

There are some very interesting discussion on WC ranking and forecast, if any of you don't ware that you can refer to (9712477.1). Our match against India is the 2nd most important of all yesterday and we are very happy to leave with 3 points.

Next week we will host Germany, an upset for Germany is not likely but we will try our best.

Two prospect of HKG NT players are now on Transfer list and would like to draw attention from potential trainers.

Xia Lik-Muk (66442138) - Magical Defender, around 1M/week salary. Previous owner trained him on defense. Would appreciate to receive further training on defense (consider impact on wages), passing, winger, SP or playmaking. His start bit is set at 0 so will definitely change owner.

Sui Ying Nan (71713428) - our back up GK is again on TS and with new asking price at 39M/2M salary. Ideal training will be defense or SP.

Tonight we will host Germany (155449274), Germany overall team strength are higher than us and also have much higher TS so we are clear underdog in this match. Nevertheless we will try our best to use the home court advantages we have and achieve something, hope we will leave with anything other than a loss. The other important match that will affect that group 14 qualification will be India vs. Guatemala (155449274). A lost to Germany combine with a win for India over Guatemala will send us back to 3rd sport for group 14 likely till India play Germany.

We are not in later phase of HKG cup and league matches will become more important. We have 5 NT players own by the four quarter finalist in Hong Kong cup. In case any NT trainers would like to protect your star player from international duty, you can write to me in advance for consideration. However we would like to stress that the final decision on NT players selection are with NT coach, and we will try to accommodate managers request if situation permitted.

Request for fielding your players will not be entertained. The only way to get more games for NT Hong Kong is to have a long term develop plan with your NT player (e.g. multi-skill training), communicate to us and stick to it.

We end up manage to get one valuable point from Germany despite one of our CD was red card in with just on 24 minutes on the field.  Our surprise draw combine with India defeated to Guatemala let us keep the second place of group 14.

Now our visit to Guatemala will be critical for the qualification and glad that we still two weeks to prepare for the match.  We will ensure the team are ready and hope we will have a full team for selection in two weeks time.

With the 4:0 win over Uman last night (who play all offensive formation with midfield/TS advantages over us) (155449280). While Guatemala and India both loss 3:0 to Mexico (155449278) and UAE respectively (155449284).

The only downside of the match with Uman was we lost our young striker
ZhangCai Wei-Wen ((65675717)), sorry Donald.

We now see ourself second at group 14 with 22 points and 4 point clear from Mexico, Guatemala and India.

Tonight we will host Yaman (155449283) , will definitely go for a win. Other interesting match in group 14 that you guys may also follow include UAE vs. Mexico (155449281) and Guatemala host Germany (155449282) .

A number of HKG NT players on the TL, would like to draw your attention our back up GK is one of them. If you are training SP or defensive position (or those who can effort train him in defense, please have a look). If you want to bid and train for him, please don't hesitate to leave a post here.

We beat Yaman 9:0 PIC and without new injury, so I am satisfy with the result of this week. Mexico draw UAE 0:0 with their CA while Guatemala also management to hold off Germany at the other goalless draw (both side play CA/PIC.).

Tonight NT HKG team will visit Guatemala (155449288), Guatemala will have better TS over us on top of home field advantages over us so it is not going to be easy. Last week Germany failed to score against Guatemala defense.

The other match in group 14 that will affect qualification is India visit Mexico (155449286).

We end up decided to play 3-5-2 AIM/Normal against Guatemala fielded 4-5-1 CA/MOTS.  3:0 is the final score.  I must admit CA is not the tactic we believe Guatemala would play and we will be caught if we play all offensive with little defense.   (I also read that in Guatemala conference that their NT have some issue with internet connection so lucky for us this time).

The other match in group we see Mexico beat India 2:0 at home.  So now in group 14 only 3 teams can qualify now (Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico), and we are leading Mexico 6 points with +20 goals different.

Next week we will host Mexico and we hope to ensure qualification after next week match.

We hold both team spirit and home court advantages over Mexico. We are current 6 points ahead of Mexico in group 14 and with +20 goals difference.
