We are also considering adding young multi-skill prospects to HKG NT team. If you have any players with close to ET on primary and training secondary/tertiary skills training. Please kindly ensure your players are submitted to (http://www.nt-db.net/countries/index.php?cntr=HK) Managers dedicate themselves to train multi skills players specially for National Team will be rewarded with matches.

Yesterday we played our first international friendly since we take over the team. The played against Paraguay away. (match id 155309500). Friendly will be played under the new match engine so like everyone else we are also at the learning stage.

We will mainly field those players keep training on secondary/tertiary skills as promised.

Lam Jia Ming ((69503431) ) likely be soon owner-less. We made look for new trainer for this 24 YO utopian midfield (around 2M HKD/weekly). Defense training will be nice.

I would like to make some amendments on the sticky post for NT requirements under (422582.3)

As the HT's have announced that multiskills will become more important from next season we have decided to change the focus for the NT-team more towards this. Multiskills, secondaries and appropriate tertiary skill now become priority.

Mainskillplayers:
-----------------------
Goalies: magical+, defending skill as secondary (priority given for those train defense, defensive positions to keeper)
Defenders: magical+ defending, passing/playmaking as secondary.
(prefer specialty: powerful/head/unpredictable with passing)
Inners: magical+ with passing or defending (or both)
Wingers: divine+ with passing or playmaking (or both)
(prefer specialty: quick/head/technical)
Forwards: magical+ with passing or winger (or both)
(prefer specialty: quick/head/unpredictable/technical-with passing)

Playertypes with multiskills:

Wingbacks: defending and wingerskill at high levels. Both beyond world class
PM-wings: winger and playmaking, wingerskill beyond Extra terrestrial, pm-skill beyond brilliant
FTW's: scoring and winger. Both beyond world class
OCD's: defending and playmaking. Both beyond magnificent
Def forwards: playmaking, passing and scoring (with technical specialty). PM beyond magnificent, passing beyond magnificent, as much scoring as possible

Stamina: for all (solid + for MF, passable + for others; expected change on game engine for next season)
Set pieces: for all (expected change on game engine for next season)

It is also very important that the players are going to be trained for a long time and that they are as young as possible. The limits we have set above here are not absolute in any way and we would like to see player develop to that direction. So there is a good chance that players that are on their way to meet these requirements, but which don't meet them currently can be included (particular for those with desired specialty). If you have a player which you are training for multiskill purpose - contact us. We will gladly give advice on future training.

We have requested for release on Lam Jia Ming ((69503431)) played in a soon to be bot team. A great prospect for NT HKG team with nice specialty (powerful), will turn in a great defensive midfield/offensive defender. Salary is still at affordable level of around 2M/week.

Any defense trainer would like to further train on Lam Jia Ming?

Tonight we will play our first qualification match, for those who would like to follow on this match, here is the link (155449243) . We will host India and game start at 2000 HT time (i.e. 3:00 am Hong Kong time). Expected to be a very close match.....

Tough luck in a match lost to India side who play AIM with inadequate center attack. Disappointed not to score with the rating, thing like this happened and we need to move on and prepare for next week visit Germany.

Today we will play our second qualification match, a visit to Germany probably the strongest team in the group [matchid=155449245].  Germany hold home court as well as TS advantage so we are clear underdog.  Fortunately we still have various option available for us including procession base, CA, pressing etc so hope they mis-read our intention and with match engine in our favor this time.

hum....I posted the game plan in the HKG conference for about 1 hour (I am sure some of the Germany users will read it), so as Ronny.  Now we have a interesting option to turn this mistake in to opportunity.  We can go for the plan a as per my tactic outline below (pressing).  or plan B (CA) or even plan C (not yet decided).  decision, decision.

- stack up head players (the only head player is the 3rd ffwdr so I hope we have a adv on 3:0 on head player. Too bad our best head defender is in "poor" form so I will fill 2 head IMs plus 1 head forward as FTW.

The other tactical I considered is 4-3-3 CA with 2 offensive wings. Actually this sound more logical. I hope they thing we will use CA and put less emphasis on midfield and play CA and we can take some advantage with our 5 players midfield. if they play pic, then is pic vs. pic so we are not worse off. If they play normal then at least we stop them from further raise their TS through us.

Tonight we will host Uman (155449252), Uman is a young team and their top player should be their around world class keeper. Think we can beat their current NT with any one of the D1 Hong Kong teams. So anything less than maximum 3 points and a few goals will be disappointment. Would like to score a few goals to restore team confident and will also play those players that continuous training as token of appreciation of their trainers.

Tonight we will travel to Al Yaman (155449256) , after we secured 3 points from Uman team are in good confident and we hope for another victory.

I think strength for Yaman NT team is similar to Uman so once again I will field those players currently receive training and prepare for the future.

I will play an offensive 3-4-3 formation, choice of forward will be the three in better form. Expect Al Yaman will play defensive formation like 4-5-1 and possible attack from wing.

After picked up 6 points from last two matches, tonight we will host Guatemala at Hong Kong (155449260).  We hold the home court/TS advantage and aim for a win (actually is a must win if need to maintain our chance to advance in group 14.  Lately the team was high by injuries and we have current 4 injured player with total 8 weeks injury time.

We cannot take Guatemala lightly as they have already two surprised wins in the 4 matches played so far (win against UAE and group favorite Mexico).  

As usual my analysis/game plan will be posted on NT/U20 HKG FED.
