我覺得佢攻好過守

如果有埋M干,that means 辛頓,禾諾克

賓叔話
"His technical ability is fantastic and he has a great left foot and provides the team with a lot of options. He has a really good mentality and he is a winner."

辛頓番歸啦 ,一早講唔想佢黎
不過我覺得Kewell 都有機會88 ,我覺得賓叔始終唔太like 佢

Hamann poised to sign, but City lose BWP

fr:soccernet.com--Manchester City are poised to complete the signing of veteran midfielder Dietmar Hamann.

City manager Stuart Pearce, who on Wedneday bid farewell to Bradley Wright-Phillips with the young striker joining Southampton, has moved for Hamann following the collapse of his proposed switch to Bolton.

Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce was on the brink of signing Liverpool's former Germany international until the 32-year-old stalled, claiming his wife was against the transfer.

Allardyce then pulled out, leaving Pearce to step in, with the hope now Hamann will sign a two-year contract before the weekend.

If Hamann puts pen to paper he will become Pearce's third major signing of the summer following the capture of Ousmane Dabo from Lazio and Paul Dickov from Blackburn.

Pearce, meanwhile, believes Wright-Phillips' departure to the St Mary's Stadium represents good business for City, with the 21-year-old signing a three-year contract.

It is believed City will net £1million from the deal due to add-on clauses, although a substantial down-payment has been paid, with £250,000 of the cash supplied by the `Coca-Cola Win A Player Promotion'.

Saints won the cash courtesy of lifelong-fan Chantelle Legg, allowing them to fund a deal for Wright-Phillips, younger brother of Shaun who last summer joined Chelsea for £21million.

With the recent arrival of Paul Dickov, and with Andy Cole, Darius Vassell and Georgios Samaras ahead of him in the pecking order, Wright-Phillips would have found himself fifth-choice forward for the coming season at City.

'Commercially, this is a good deal for the club but also for Bradley at this stage in his career,' commented Pearce.

'Like his brother, he was a popular member of the squad and an extremely likeable lad. As with Shaun, he will always be welcome back at this club.'

Another player expected to be shown the door at Eastlands is Joey Barton, who continues to stall on the signing of a new contract, and with just one year remaining on his current deal.

With no sign of any commitment from the 23-year-old, and in light of Hamann's impending arrival, it is believed Pearce is ready to listen to offers.

Rumours of a swap deal involving Celtic's wantaway star Stilian Petrov, however, have been stringently denied by Bhoys chief executive Peter Lawwell who said: 'Accusations we have contacted Manchester City offering Stilian are completely false.

'We wish Stilian to remain at the club and this story is totally inaccurate.'

Arsenal and Bolton in race for Saviola signature

fr:soccernet.com--Javier Saviola's agent Alfredo Kamprera has claimed Arsenal and Bolton are interested in signing the Argentina striker.

Panathinaikos were interested in the 25-year-old but according to Kamprera, the Barcelona player will consider only Spain or England as destinations.

'There is a proposal from Panathinaikos, as there are from other teams. One of them is Arsenal, while there is also interest from Bolton,' Kamprera told Greek sports daily Sport Day.

'Our priority is for Javier to remain in Spain or go to England, because he is interested in the quality of the football.

'Greece is not first choice as the league is not the same quality as in other countries.'

Polish teenage Cywka joins Wigan Athletic

fr:soccernet.com--Polish teenager Tomasz Cywka has finally signed a three-year contract with Wigan.

Midfielder Cywka agreed to join the Latics in March following an impressive two-week trial, but was forced to return to his homeland to complete his education.

The 18-year-old jetted in yesterday to put pen to paper, but again has quickly had to fly back to compete in the European Under-19 Championships, continuing his prolific record at under-age level.

Cywka has over 80 caps to his name for the under-18s and under-19s, and recently became the second youngest player in Poland's history to be capped at under-21 level.

After securing Cywka's signature, Jewell said: 'Until a player actually signs the deal, anything can happen, so I am delighted Tomasz is a Wigan player at last.

'He has a real chance to make it in the game, I think he has all the attributes to become a very good player as he has a great touch, vision and pace.

'Now he needs to adapt to the English game and make all that potential come good.'

Cywka, who has been learning English for the last five years courtesy of his parents paying for private tuition, appreciates it may take time for him to make his mark - but he is determined to succeed.

After apparently spurning the advances of Bayern Munich, Cywka said: 'Paul Jewell and Wigan pushed harder than any other club to sign me.

'I am very grateful to them for giving me this chance and I really hope I can repay the faith they have shown in me

'This is a very ambitious club and how the team performed last year was fantastic.

'How quickly I can make it into the first-team squad we will see, but I have come to England to learn and improve as a player and I will always be trying my best, that I can promise. I want to be the best I can.'

韋根bid希斯基
http://home.skysports.com/list.a ... confirms+Heskey+bid

Wigan Athletic manager Paul Jewell has confirmed he has made a bid for Emile Heskey but is no longer pursuing the striker's former Birmingham City team-mate Robbie Savage.

The JJB Stadium outfit are looking to build on a hugely encouraging first season at Premiership level and are making bold moves in the transfer market.

Birmingham striker Heskey is a top target following the Midlanders' relegation from the top flight.

"Emile is a proven performer at Premiership and international level," Jewell told Wigan's official website. "We have made what we consider to be a very good offer to Birmingham City.

"It is not normal for this club to comment on targets until the player has signed but, in this instance, it's an open secret that we've made the bid.

"I think he's a player who could do very well for us but we'll see how the situation develops."

Jewell also confirmed that Blackburn Rovers had stressed Robbie Savage was not for sale after a move was made for the Welshman.

"We did ask Blackburn about Robbie through the correct channels because he's a player I thought would be a good addition to our squad," explained Jewell.

"But Blackburn said he was not for sale.

"That's as far as the conversation went."

Savage shuns interest from Wigan

fr:soccernet.com--Robbie Savage has revealed he has no intention of quitting Blackburn for Wigan.

Savage has been consistently linked with a move to the Latics in the past week, but the former Wales international midfielder is happy at Ewood Park.

Despite Craig Bellamy leaving Blackburn for Liverpool for £6.5million earlier this summer, the 31-year-old will not be following his close friend out of the club.

'I am more than happy at Blackburn,' Savage told The Sun. 'I knew when I left Birmingham this was the right club for me and nothing has changed.

'It was very flattering for me they showed an interest, but there's a UEFA Cup season ahead and I'm very much looking forward to it.'

Another Blackburn star being chased by other clubs is full-back Lucas Neill, and although the Australia international insists - like Savage - he is happy at Rovers, at present his future is clouded.

Neill has just a year remaining on his current contract, resulting in inevitable speculation, although he has yet to speak to manager Mark Hughes and chairman John Williams.

'To be honest, I'm happy at Blackburn,' said Neill in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. 'I've a nice home near Bolton, and the club finished sixth last season, which got us into the UEFA Cup, which is exciting.

'But, like any professional footballer, I'm keeping my options open. There have been a lot of rumours flying around about my future, but I have yet to speak to my Blackburn manager and the club's chairman.

'I still feel that I am a Blackburn player, but I am very flattered to have been noticed by quite reputable clubs.'
