fr:sina.com.hk--　法國邊鋒里貝里在世界盃上表現出色，這也使得英超豪門阿仙奴加入了搶奪里貝里的行列之中。這位23歲的馬賽邊鋒在世界盃上的表現引人關注，之前他也隱約表示准備離開維洛德羅姆球場(馬賽主場)，而阿仙奴雲格正在考慮他加盟的可能性。

　　然而他同馬賽的合約將至2010年，法甲俱樂部苛刻地要求2000萬歐元(1400萬英鎊)才能放人。里貝里在世界盃之前就表示有興趣去英格蘭踢球，而整個世界盃期間，他也受到人們的關注，雲格就是特別留意其表現的人之一，他可能出價求購這位23歲邊鋒。在同西班牙的1/8決賽中，里貝里利用速度反越位成功攻入關鍵的扳平入球。

　　法甲冠軍里昂也對里貝里有意，夏天早些時候，里昂一度在競逐中佔據優勢，但馬賽主席強硬的表示不允許本隊球員加盟其他法甲球會。盡管阿仙奴看上去是里貝里加盟英倫足球的首選，但曼聯也是潛在的競爭對手，因為在C-朗拿度拒絕回到老特拉福德之後，費格遜也將眼光投向這位法國的年輕小將。

fr:sina.com.hk--　阿仙奴將在本周從巴塞隆拿以400萬英鎊低價簽下沙維奧拿。沙維奧拿的經紀人布里祖爾拉說：“他將基於足球的原因做出決定，目前很傾向於阿仙奴。他踢英國足球沒有任何問題，因為他是一名世界級球員，他將在任何國家取得成功。這個星期非常重要，因為他希望在這個假期選擇他的未來。”

　　24歲的沙維奧拿同巴薩仍有兩年合同在身，但他始終未能擠入球隊的主力陣容。從2001-2004的三個賽季，沙維奧拿在聯賽中出場105場攻入47 球，但里杰卡爾德入主1年後，由於伊圖奧等實力球員的引進，沙維奧拿被迫被租借，2004-05賽季，沙維奧拿被租借法國摩納哥，29場聯賽攻入7球。上賽季被租借至西甲西維爾，聯賽中攻入7球，不僅幫助球隊贏得足協盃冠軍，也差點獲得了冠軍聯賽資格。

　　沙維奧拿的出道並不遜於目前巴薩的當紅小將梅西。1988年，不滿17歲的沙維奧拿便身披河床戰袍出場。次年，18歲的沙維奧拿當選南美足球先生。 2001年世青賽6場比賽攻入11球，人們也把他同一代巨星馬勒當拿相比較。隨後他追隨馬勒當拿的足跡登陸歐洲加盟巴薩，然而三個賽季之後逐漸淡出主力陣容，而如今的遭遇同阿根廷中場核心列基美一樣，重返巴薩的可能性幾近無望。

　　然而在英超聯賽，華朗和基斯普都難以復制在意甲獲得的巨大成功，前者在曼聯和車路士都表現都屢受批評，基斯普在斯坦福德橋的日子也只是偶爾閃光。沙維奧拿身材矮小，在強調身體對抗的英倫足球中能否立足尚存疑問，上賽季阿根廷進攻中場達歷山德羅在樸茨茅斯的租借生涯就並不如意。但沙維奧拿速度極快，有極強的控球技巧和突破能力，這或許就是雲格中意他的原因。

Marseille have announced the signing of Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse.

The move has been mooted for some time and now the French club have confirmed Cisse will play at Stade Velodrome next season.

Cisse has been a long-term target for Marseille as they have been chasing him for over a year.

The 24-year-old was told earlier this summer that he could leave Anfield as he did not figure in Rafa Benitez's plans.

Cisse has joined Marseille initially on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent deal.

The jet-heeled forward admitted his heart was set on a switch to Marseille.

"My choice was always Marseille," Cisse told the club's official website.

The former Auxerre ace is currently recovering from a broken leg and he is not expected to be back playing until October

Premiership new-boys Watford have swelled their squad with the capture of Damien Francis from Wigan.

Francis figured regularly for Wigan in The Premiership last term, but it seemed that he was destined for pastures new as Stoke tabled a bid for the player earlier in the summer.

The offer from the Championship side fell on deaf ears, as Francis was not keen to drop down a division.

Watford came calling this week and they were able to persuade Wigan to sell with an offer which could rise to £1.5 million depending on certain conditions being met.

With little prospect of regular playing time at Wigan, Francis concurred on a three-year deal at Vicarage Road and signed on the dotted line on Wednesday.

Francis is Watford's fifth signing of the summer and manager Aidy Boothroyd is happy to have landed the experienced midfielder.

"Damien adds a lot of strength to our central midfield area," Boothroyd told the club's website. "I knew Damien from my time at Norwich and he's a professional right to the end.

"Things have not happened for him at Wigan and that sometimes happens at some clubs, but I think that we're right for him and he's right for us.

"He's a £2 million player and the fact that we've got him for the money we have is a real coup for us.

"Damien now has got the opportunity to fight for a first-team place and help us climb The Premiership like we climbed The Championship."

Middlesbrough have confirmed they have called off their pursuit for Chelsea defender Robert Huth

The Germany international defender had been set to sign for the North East outfit following this summer's World Cup.

Boro had been tracking the 21-year-old for some time, but delays regarding the burly defender's capture cast doubt over the deal this week.

Manager Gareth Southgate has now confirmed Huth will not be linking-up with the side, with a failed medical reportedly behind their decision.

"It's a great shame for everyone involved that Robert won't be joining us at the present time," Southgate confirmed to the club's official website.

"But I'm continuing to pursue a number of avenues towards potential new signings, though there's nothing concrete to confirm right now."

Southgate continued by adding he will not be rushed into panic signings and is happy to bide his time in order to make the right purchases.

"Any signings will be those I believe to be in the club's best interests not just now but for the next few years," he added.

"I'm quickly finding out that progress can be slow on the transfer front but I'm following two or three possibilities that I hope will result in the signing of quality players."

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has hailed the transfer of Dietmar Hamann to Manchester City as 'the best transfer deal in his life'.

The German international ended his on-off transfer saga on Wednesday by being finally unveiled as a Manchester City player.

The 32-year-old had previously signed a contract with The Trotters but decided against the switch to The Reebok Stadium and asked to be allowed to move elsewhere.

Bolton eventually relented to Hamann's demands and will receive £400,000 from City for a player that never made an appearance for the club.

Although disappointed with the player's actions, Allardyce is happy with the outcome of the situation.

"Didi Hamann is a history breaker," Allardyce said on the club's official website. "I am the only manager to get £400,000 for a player who has never kicked a ball for the club.

"Didi Hamann has disappointed me for two reasons. The first reason is that the player and his agent resurrected the interest in Bolton Wanderers at the end of last season after we'd missed out on him 12 months before.

"Secondly, he didn't tell the full story when he tried to get out of the agreement he had with us.

"Because of that, I have managed to get this club £400,000. It is the best transfer deal I have ever done in my life."

With the absence of Hamann, Allardyce is expected to turn to the tried and tested figure of Ivan Campo in the holding role in Bolton's midfield next season.

The Spaniard's future at the club had also been in some doubt until a few weeks ago when he agreed a new two-year contract.

Allardyce has been delighted with the impact Campo has made during the short time back from pre-season and is now looking to reinforcing the side further before the start of the season on August 19.

"I have no regrets whatsoever. Life moves on and my whole thought process is channelled to strengthening the squad here," he added.

"For example, it's like Ivan Campo, who signed a new two-year contract last month. Ivan is arguably the best player we've had in the sitting role.

"He is having an excellent close season and should be ready for a massive campaign when it all starts next month.

"In some respects, because of his injuries last season, it is like having a new player in our ranks."
