Dear all,
With the NT coach election just started and I enter the last week of current NT term, I would like to give you all a brief review on NT HKG development of latest two seasons and whereabout on our player progress. First I would like to thank my two assistance coach EM and Little Rain for their helps. Their advice/recommendations as well as those from Ronny are very important for me to fine tune my game plan in so many critical matches.
In the elections speech (10061193.2) , I make a few major promises. Namely offer priority for those players train secondary skills, brings NT players back to (local) competitive teams as well as improve communication. I believer I have delivered quite well for those promises. While I did not put any concert on team result, qualification for 2nd round of world cup and achieve NT rating points of 420 (2nd in group) are both very good achievements. Games like win against India, England as well as draw with Germany were major surprised result for us. I don't see many games I will play differently if I have second chance. In term of communications, we have started dedicated NT/U20 thread in three major local off site forum (BFF/HKCM/Unwants). We even have one thread in BFF just to cater trading of NT/U20 and prospects (full credit to EM on this). All in all, I think we bring the NT/U20 much more closer to the Hong Kong HT community in general.
Player Development by Position
Goalkeeper
Jiang Tze-Ee (11661742) – still our no. 1 GK at age of 34, key cornerstone for our defense with his experience. Hope he can still last for 1-2 seasons at highest level, train combination of general/SP by Will.
Sui Ying Nan (71713428) – our 2nd choice GK now back to his original team., will be our no.1 GK as soon as Jiang retrie form NT, train defense in later part of season when blood evil united out of Hong Kong cup.
Priority: We need to get one GK to prepare for Jiang retirement from NT.
Defender
Tian In-Su (56002345) – core of our defensive line, now training passing. Still have minimum 2-3 season with NT.
Li Soo Kuang (90334336) – a new defender I picked up after last WC, a bit low on main skill consider his age (25yo) but with nice secondary (passing/SP), current training defense. Hope he will switch to passing or SP training after done on primary training.
Gong Hsu (45756799) – just picked up by one local team, not trained for the last 2-3 seasons as far as I am aware of.
Xia Lik-Muk (66442138) – My own young pull, not trained for the last season.
Xiao Jaw-long (26875141) – Now back to Hong Kong and under little rain.
Backup: Ma Tsao-Thuong (14858503) can be pick up if in good form.
Wing Back
Lin Zhi Ming (127200522) – Young winger with nice (unpredictable] currently train in defense. One of my major pick up with focus on multi-skill player, when finish defense training hope further train on passing. Can be use as pure offensive winger in need case.
Midfield
Ang Seung-hwa (46290744) – core of our midfield, train passing at 36FC, have minimum 2-3 seasons with NT Hkg. I play him a lot in for manager team finance reason.
Lam Jia Ming (69503431) – I am training him myself on secondary (passing), may switch SP in future.
Wu Wai-Kiu (47698303) – Train defense at local team Squirrel, can be use as defense midfield or offensive defender. Seldom at good form in my term so not feature in a lot of matches.
Ru Hong Wai (76666754) – New midfield picked up after WC, current training passing by local team HighburyGunners
Ying Zhen Yu (69563712) – another midfield picked up after WC, not very high primary skill (magical only) but NT HKG need new blood in IM sector, training playmaking.
Peng Shoi-ming (21977567) – good midfield with very high passing, probably have 1-2 seasons with NT HKG.
Jiang Zhen-Ye (26876146) – Gonner third NT players, high PM train general/SP, will have another 1-2 season with NT.
Back up
Huang Duy-Quang (21692347) – to be call up if in good form/good stamina.
Zou Joo-Heng (17362190) – to be call up if in good form/good stamina
Wing toward middle
Zhai Key Cheng (71749381) – a 「quick」 midfield currently train at Wing (hopefully soon reach solid wing), can be use as pure IM if needed.
Offensive Winger
Tang Yeo-hoon (46738202) – my first choice winger in competitive match with good Wing/PM/SP. With Gonner and train in general/SP.
Nai Swee Liak (77569794) – 「quick」 wing released by EM after half season of PM training, hope he picked up by a passing trainer some time later.
Huang Wing Loong (132435246) – young winger already training on passing, low PM lower his value for NT but nerveless a very nice play to have in NT.
Back up
Sa Han-fei (36473272) – to be call up if in good form.
Forward
He Han-gyong (36978119) – Out top forward with good passing, now under little rain.
ZhangCai Wei-Wen (65675717) – Our 「head」 forward current train on passing, owner may release him after he reach solid passing. Try to secure next trainer for him.
Mi Mo-Chi (66549851) – 2nd forward owned by little rain, good scoring/passing/sp
Huang Choon-Heng (67479949) – a multi skills forward (scoring/wing/passing) trained by lazy united. Good candidate for forward toward wing situation.
Wang Kwok Chu (78057488) – a 「head」 forward train by me, reasonable good for scoring/passing/sp
Back up
Wei Wai-Yi (30927475) – to be picked up if with good form.
Coach
Offensive coach
Ke Kuo-Wing (11083259) – can act as back up winger, switch to solid defense coach for daily update.
Defensive coach
Chu Liu-Liang (25463414) – need a newly convert defensive coach with solid leadership before the start of new qualification round.
Due to other real life commitments, I will not run for second NT coach term. I really enjoy every moment as coach of NT Hong Kong in the last six months, I hope the next NT manager can build on what we have and further develop the team.
Be assured I will be with NT Hong Kong in future and thank for all of your support in the past two seasons.
