Ivory Coast's Meite poised to join Bolton

Bolton have signed Ivory Coast defender Abdoulaye Meite from Marseille, subject to a medical and receiving international clearance.

The 25-year-old centre-half, who played for his country in the World Cup finals in Germany, has agreed a four-year deal and will join Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce said: 'Abdoulaye is a player we have been tracking for some time.

'He has all the qualities you'd expect from an international footballer who also played for one of France's top teams.

'He's young and should adapt to the intensities of the Premier League rather quickly.'

Meite, who helped Marseille knock Bolton out of the UEFA Cup last season, joins fellow summer signing Idan Tal at the Reebok Stadium.

Allardyce also hopes to sign former Manchester United midfielder Quinton Fortune if the South African can prove his fitness in training.

The manager added: 'As always, we are working very hard at bringing in new faces to the squad and I'm confident there will be some more signings before the season gets under way.

　　舒夫真高、波歷克，兩大明星的引進意味著車路士將在今夏重新洗牌，而愛爾蘭邊鋒杜夫便極有可能將成為離隊的大牌明星。據英國媒體披露，下賽季主力前景看低的杜夫可能將在近期投奔車路士同城死敵諾定咸熱刺。

　　熱刺本賽季已經在轉會市場咂出了2200萬英鎊，先後引進了貝碧托夫、埃克托、佐克拉和薛基勒等好手，其中身價最高的前鋒貝碧托夫達到了1090萬英鎊，但可以相信杜夫的加盟將成為今夏走入白鹿巷球場的最昂貴人物。

　　根據英國《太陽報》報道，27歲的杜夫有望得到一份周薪6萬英鎊的4年合同。而熱刺主帥喬爾希望這筆交易能在48小時之內完成。

　　2003年杜夫從布力般流浪以1700萬英鎊身價加盟車路士，他的邊路突襲成為藍軍近兩個賽季進攻中利器之一，但隨著波歷克和舒夫真高的加盟，杜夫可以預見在接下來的新賽季中將處於邊緣化的境地之中，他的離隊也並不太出乎人們預料，只不過投奔同城死敵熱刺多少有些意外，這將使得下賽季熱刺與車路士兩隊的交鋒又多了幾分談資。

　　目前所有對車路士下賽季的陣容分析都指向一個答案──442，舒夫真高和杜奧巴都將是摩連奴難以割舍的鋒線力量，基斯普則將全力“復辟”當年自己與舒夫真高的米蘭鋒線搭檔。馬基里尼、埃辛、林柏特和波歷克，四名中場大將的安排將成為擺在摩連奴面前的重要課題，但毫無疑問的是，邊鋒的作用將在新賽季被極大程度削弱，即便是近兩年犀利無比的荷蘭人洛賓，他的主力位置也不無可能發生動搖。

　　巧合的是熱刺主帥喬爾近兩個賽季以來始終在進行自己的左路“尋槍”活動，列農的異軍突起讓熱刺右路的進攻上個賽季頗有起色，杜夫的加盟有望進一步增強熱刺兩翼攻擊力，荷蘭教頭喬爾的目標已經瞄准下賽季的更高榮譽。

The Latics last week agreed a fee with AZ Alkmaar for the 30-year-old, who is scheduled to fly in for talks with the prospect of becoming manager Paul Jewell's fourth signing of the summer.

Jewell quickly completed deals for striker Emile Heskey, centre-back Fitz Hall and young Polish star Tomasz Cywka, with the expectation Landzaat will follow suit.

Although giving up UEFA Cup football next season, Landzaat is keen on a move to the JJB Stadium, with another suitor in Primera Liga side Espanyol now appearing to be completely out of the running.

AZ spokesperson Erik van Leeuwen said: ' We have reached an agreement with Wigan, and they are the only club we have we have reached an agreement with.

'We are happy with the fee, and now it is up to Denny, although he has definitely mentioned he is willing to go to Wigan.

'He is hoping a deal can be finalised, but it all looks very good for him. If he goes then we wish him well.'
